Lachlan grabs onto my hand, pulling me down the long, empty corridor. The sound of soft Christmas music slowly fades the further we get from that dreaded dinner. “Do you trust me, Delilah Caldor?” Lachlan doesn’t slow down, throwing me a rakish grin over his shoulder.
