I got ready for my birthday I'm so excited I can't wait to see my wolf for the first time I picked out a cute little outfit Threw It On grab my hoodie and some shorts for after the shift. then I went down the hall in the living room to hang out with everyone since they came for my party we had cake and ice cream and everyone was staying in the house until after I shifted. I went outside found me a little patch of trees got undressed and put my clothes on the ground in a little pile. I feel like someone is watching me but I think I was just paranoid since it was my first time shifting then I decided to let the shift take Jackie was in my head telling me not to fight it it was going to hurt like hell I could hear all the snapping and I was whimpering it hurts so bad. it took me a good 30 minutes to shift completely but when I finally got done shifting Jackie was beautiful we rolled around in the grass where we were something smells so good. it smelled like fresh rain and honeysuckles but I couldn't investigate because it was dark and I know what my dad said about the Rouges. I rolled around some more than decided to shift back your first shift takes a lot out of you so I was drained just from that little moment. I've put on my clothes and wobbled back to the house. they were all smiling they were so excited that I shifted they could not wait to run with me but that'll have to wait till tomorrow because I was so sore. so we all decided to eat cake sit around and joke while watching movies. I still wonder what that yummy smell was it was intoxicating but I could only get faint whiffs of it. I decided only to stay up a few more hours and then just went to my room. Me and Jackie decided to talk a little bit she asked me what I knew about mates and the mate Bond and to be honest I didn't know a whole lot she wasn't surprised because this is the first time that I would ever have any of that since you don't get the urge until you shift I've only seen it with other family members. I asked her why she was so curious and she said she was just wondering I asked if she knew if we had a mate. she giggled and said yes silly the Moon goddess will always give you a faded mate. I giggled too I knew that part was true it was just hard to believe that someone like me had somebody out there to love them. I slowly started drifting into a deep slumber when I was woken up by a strange noise at first I blew it off thinking it may have been the dog outside when I realized it wasn't.
