Chap. 12 Deal with it

( Yoru POV )
It had been a few days since Alpha Jax had been here and Rain was holed up in our room. Right now he was pacing back and forth in front of the bed lost in thought. “come on darling, try not to worry.” I tell him. He stopped and turned in my direction. “I can’t help it. I know they will be coming here once they hear from Jax where I am.” Rain call me referring once again to his parents. He told me a bit about them after Jack’s left. He told me that they had left him by himself to do his own thing as a kid and more than likely didn’t even notice when he never came back. Rōzu Was sitting on the floor by the end of my bed keeping an eye on the rain help him as he had the layout of the memorized.
I sigh, knowing there is not much that can be done to change his mind though I can sure try. I moved off the bed and stand in front of him. I pull him to me gently and give him a kiss. “Come on love, we can’t worry about something that might or might not happen.” I tell him gently as I lead him to the bed. He sighs. “I suppose your right, but I still don’t like it.” He says. “Yes I know.” I say. We lay down on the bed and started to make out. It was getting really hot and heavy when a knock on the door interrupted us. Rain growled in annoyance while I get up to open the door. Opening it, I see one of our warriors, Kuro, standing there. “What can I do for you Kuro?” I ask him. “There are some people on the border sir. We tried sending them away because the are from Alpha Jax’s pack but they insist on talking to the Alpha.” He said. “Alright, lead them to my office please.” I tell him with a sigh. He nodes and leaves as I turn to look at Rain who was now standing behind me. “I told you they would come.” He said with frown. “Let’s just wait and see who it is dear. I mean why would they even come here in the first place?” I ask as we walk to our office. “More then likely they think they can get some kind of power out of it. My father has always been power hungry.” He said as he lead against the window feeling the sunlight on his face.
I was thinking about what he said when a knock sounded from the door. “Enter.” I say and the door opens to reveal Kuro, Shiro, and Sabastian entering the room with an older man and women between them. Kuro and Shiro went and stood on either side of the door while Sabastian sat on the couch. I waved a hand at the chairs in front of the desk, offering a place to sit to the couple. Once they were seated the man turned his attention to me while the woman looked around the room. The man had a smirk and spoke to me as if he owned the place. “Alpha Yoru, my name is Harold and this is my mate Kensley.” He said. I give a nod then get right into it. “Why are you here? You were not invited here and I am not looking to add you to my pack.” I tell him. “Well you see, our Alpha visited here recently and he told us that one of your pack mates is our son and we wanted to see him.” Harold said. “Why on earth do you want to see him when you didn’t even try and look for him the entire time he was gone?” I asked him feeling irritated. As Harold was going to say something else his mate spoke up pointing behind me. “That’s him isn’t it?!” She said standing up. I glanced behind me to look at Rain. He didn’t make a move, keeping his face towards the window. He gave nothing away keeping his body relaxed as if nothing were bothering him. I smirked, to others he might not look like he cared but I could tell he was bothered by the way he had his hand on Rōzu’s head or gently tugging on her fluffy ears. I turn my attention back to the couple. “Yes it is but it seems to me he has no intention of speaking to you.” I say smugly. Harold growled at me. “I will speak to him if I want to.” I growled back then had an idea. “Let them try and talk to you.” I said to Rain. He turns towards me and gives a nod.
( Rain POV )
I keep a hand on Rōzu’s head and move so that my back is against the window. “You can speak to him now.” I hear Yoru say and I nod in agreement. “Buraindo we have missed you so much.” Kensley said. Why are you here in this pack? Where have you been all this time? Why won’t you come back to the pack and be with your mate Jax?” What’s with that dog next to you?” She continued to ask questions but I didn’t answer them. Nor did I care to. When I continued not answering her questions I heard a growl come from Harold. “You better answer your mother, boy.” He said with a growl. Four other growls answered his. I wave my hand to tell it is fine and they go quiet. I sigh and move to sit in Yoru’s lap and hear a gasp come from them both. “Rain! Don’t you know better then to do that to an Alpha?” Kensley says. “Do you have no shame?” Harold asked rudely and I growl at him before I turn and kiss Yoru causing him to chuckle. I felt something grab me and pull me off of Yoru. I scratch at the arm that has me and hear an animalistic growl as I am yanked away from the hand and pushed behind Yoru. “You will never touch my mate again.” He said angrily. “You are not welcome here any longer. You are not to come back and do not try and contact us. Yoru is my mate and you will not show such disrespect to either of us. So deal with it!” I say through the open link and wave to Kuro and Shiro. “Take them away and get them out of our territory.” I say angrily. They nod and force the couple out of the office.
