Olivia bent over, forcing a smile as she said to Jonathan, "Mr. Gray, this is all Julian's fault. When he gets home, I'll make sure to teach him a good lesson."
She pleaded, "You're a generous man. Could you please give Julian a chance for my sake?"
"For your sake?" Jonathan spat on Olivia's face and sneered, "Who do you think you are? Do you think your plea is worth anything?"
"Mr. Gray, please forgive him. Julian was being immature. I apologize on his behalf..." Olivia said.
Slap! Before she could finish, Jonathan slapped her hard across the face and raised his voice, "How dare you ask for my forgiveness, you stupid country bumpkin?"
