“Alpha!” Jacob dashed into my chambers with wide eyes, “What happened?”
“Now is not the time for questions, are the guards ready?” I asked hastily.
“I have brought with me a total number of fifty, and I sent your orders to the commander, he's gathering the rest as we speak.”
“Then let's go.”
I stormed past him, moving as fast as my legs could carry me. “Alpha Caspian… Hold on! What the hell is going on?”
I didn't stop, I couldn't. Every second passing by felt like my world was crumbling. My chest was heavy, and full of regret that I was so desperate to ward it off. I needed to find Namiko, to make things right, to clear off my conscience.
