Jade's POV
It was already midnight when I jerked off the drowsy cloak of sleep out of my eyes. I pressed a hand to my side to find the bed cold. He probably left right after.
Christ. My lower body burns with pain. I struggled to get out of bed and into the bathroom. The shower room smells of him. The tiles are covered with condensed water droplets, trickling down to the floor. I stepped in and started the shower.
