Eros left Hattie's room, and even he couldn't stop thinking about that room specifically. He felt drawn to it. He hadn't even seen the inside until a couple of hours ago. He felt so distracted by Hattie that he didn't trust himself to go into his own room with his girlfriend Julie there. It felt wrong when, just minutes before, he was about to kiss another girl.
He stood in the middle of central park. The wind was blowing the tree branches everywhere. He felt better out there instead of being in the place he called his home. Eros looked around until he spotted the swings and walked over to them. He sat on it thinking about whatever he could at that moment.
He sighed as some type of daydream came into his head about the blue-eyed girl who he sort of lived with.
"Hattie" he softly said, her name. He could still feel his lips tingling from her breath and from how close she was to him. He couldn't even believe how close she was to him. He gripped the swing as he kicked his feet.
He couldn't have her. He had Julie already and he was in love with her.
"was?" He said out loud as the sentence came out of his brain.
"He was in love with her"
He couldn't have magically forgotten three years' worth of emotions just for one girl he had just met. Julie and Eros had been together since the last year of high school. He should... He thought to himself. He shouldn't.... He repeated in his head but ,the one thought going through his head, was to kiss Hattie until he ran out of breath. To break up with Julie.
Why for this random girl, he asked himself. Why? For one blue-eyed girl, that reminded him of something that he didn't even realize he had forgotten.
Why did she suddenly take his breath away, even after seeing her in the kitchen?
Eros felt a buzz in his pocket and took his phone out.
Hey, where are you?- Julie
I went for a walk- Eros
What's wrong? - Julie
I'm fine, I just had to take a walk- Eros
Okay, come back soon- Julie
Eros took a deep breath and signed. The fact that he just texted Julie did not help him. He knew he shouldn't but the thoughts of Hattie were the only thing on his mind. The thought of kissing her when he was close to doing it did not help his case. However he couldn't stop thinking about it.
He couldn't stop thinking about the possibility of seeing her by accident again. How could he accidentally push her again...
