I just read Vea’s text message to me. It was sent yesterday. I wasn’t able to check my phone because I was so busy with my work. I decided to visit Vea to make sure that she’s doing fine. But before doing so, I went to a restaurant and bought some of her favorites. I bought her food so that she could eat dinner, and take her medicines. I drove to Vea’s house after buying the food.
When I arrived at Vea’s house, I noticed that Rafi’s car was parked outside. I was instantly pissed off because he got here first before me. Tch.
I parked my car beside Rafi’s car. I hopped off the vehicle, and walked towards Vea’s house. I was welcome by Uncle Aki.
“Good evening, Uncle. Where’s Vea?” I asked.
“She’s in her room. She’s with Rafi,” he answered.
