I was feeling so hot when I woke up. My throat hurts as well. Everything in my body seemed to be in pain. I feel sick. I looked at my alarm clock on my side table– it was already two in the afternoon!
I tried getting up, but my head just hurts so much. I grabbed my phone, and texted dad.
I typed, “Dad, I’m sick. I can’t get up, and I can’t talk because my throat hurts as well. I’m hungry.”
I sent it to my dad. After a few seconds, he immediately knocked on my door.
“Amour, can I come in?” He asked.
Even though my throat hurt so bad, I tried saying, “Come… in…”
When my dad went inside my room, he touched my forehead.
“Tsk. You are scorching hot. You’re still in your clothes last night.”
