I knocked on Vea’s door to see if she was awake. I wanted to apologize to her because of what happened yesterday.
“Vea? Are you still asleep?” Vea did not answer, so I knocked again. Still, nothing.
I twisted the door knob, and it was opened. There was no one in her room. I tried calling her phone.
“The subscriber cannot be reached. Please try your call later. The subscriber cannot be reached–” I can’t contact her either.
I left her room, and asked our house helpers if they had seen her.
“Have you seen Vea this morning?” I asked our gardener.
“She left with the driver very early this morning. I didn’t know where they were going.” He replied.
“Okay. Thank you,” I replied.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket and called our driver.
“Hello, Kuya? Are you with Vea?” I asked.
