Chapter Five Leigh kept pursing her lips and tsking as I followed her through the corridors of the Arc Domes. I wasn’t sure if she was angrier about my slow pace or my crutches wrinkling my shirt. By the time we’d made it to the three flights of stairs I’d have to manage to climb to reach the atrium, she’d had enough. “Just carry her.” She snatched my crutches from me and glared at the guards. “I don’t care which one, but someone pick her up and carry her.
