Chapter 16

Alphas meeting/United talks….

All the alphas I met are here. From alpha Joshua, alpha Alex (my ex mate with his Luna for those who forgot), all the alphas from North, West, East, and South. Every alpha came knowing the moon goddess' direct relative was here. And those who didn't, knew I would show up. Apparently me taking down alphas for the moon goddess is the new rumor going around. I giggle and everyone turns their heads to look at me like I'm crazy. I know I'm crazy, I'm going crazier and crazier every day. I killed my mate, the feeling is driving me insane. The only thing the moon goddess couldn't do was fix this. "So, let's get this meeting started. I'll let you know what the moon goddess has said. The rogues will form a sort of rebellion against the packs. They want to destroy our packs and make us rogues. The rogue king is unifying the rogues against us. Now, are you ready to join or are you ready to die?" I ask, annoyed and seeing Alex with his so called "Luna" hanging all over him. I steal glances every now and then, looking at everyone else. I never linger on him for very long. I never look in his eyes.

"Why should we believe you? You're just a slut who stole the second chance mate's alpha title." Alex's Luna says. My beta starts to growl and so does the rest of the group around me. They're all staring at her. So, I do the only civilized thing I know how to do.

"Look b***h, you might have stolen your "Luna" title but not everyone's like you. I fought for what I got, you just f****d your way to the top." I say with a smirk. Everyone chuckles and stares the her cheeks flushed red. Alex just looks down and looks over to her, whispering something in her ear. "Listen now and listen good. I am the Lost Princess. I'm a descendant of the moon goddess. You will listen to me or you will die." I hear murmurs around. Oops.. I let the cat out of the bag.

"My queen." I hear all over the room. Each one of the alphas getting down on their knees and bowing to me, except Alex and his Luna. Moon goddess, this would be a great time for you to just pop up like you usually do. All of a sudden, the room gets really, really bright. Long flowing hair which is sometimes white and sometimes black, sometimes even golden; her face always changes. I just want to see what she really looks like, this is driving me crazy. Right now she kind of looks like me. She has long flowing silver hair and her face looks almost exactly like mine, an older version maybe. Like a mother that I never had because she never saved her.

"This is your queen she is my daughter, technically granddaughter, but she is my blood. Those who follow her will be rewarded and those who don't.. well, you'll find out." She says and then disappears without answers or help.

"Now, are you guys ready to fight and train or do you guys want to keep arguing?" Alex is bowing now and his Luna's just standing there seething.

"I will not follow a w***e!" She says, stomping her foot like a brat, trying to pull Alex up.

"Well, your so-called "mate" has accepted this fate. Why can't you? Jealous that I'm his actual mate? Scratch that, ex mate." After I saw him look up with hope, I had to crush it. I would not let him hurt me again. "Guess I will have to show you what she meant." I put up my hands and called forth her wolf. "Destiny, your human is not behaving or obeying my orders. Leave her." I said in an alpha voice that made everyone bow their heads in submission.

"Yes, my queen," was all the wolf said before she abandoned her human. I felt as Destiny left her body. I felt the wolf's pain that she left behind and went to be with the moon goddess. And then the Luna just fell to the ground, shivering. There was gasps in the crowd.

"Anyone else want to play this little game? No one shall disrespect me. No one. Does everyone understand?" I ask as a command. Everyone nods.

"What's happening to her," says an alpha towards the back, I think his name is Alpha Tyler.

"Her wolf has gone to the moon goddess to be placed in another. She will live the rest of her days feeling empty." It's worse than death, but she deserves it. This is harsh, I shouldn't have done it. The pain of losing my mates is driving me slowly insane.. I need to find my mate before the day is over or we might lose this war. Beta Andrew walks beside me, slowly pushing me out and I just go with it.

"That was cruel and you know it." He said in a whisper as we headed towards the pack house.

"It had to be done so they understand how serious the situation is. She sent me visions of what is to happen, and no one wants that.." I said while shuddering "I know I went too far.. It's driving me slowly insane, not having my mate. The moon goddess is cruel!" I say as tears fall down my face.

"Did she tell you who your mate is, so we can find him faster?" I shook my head. I just hope I don't have to do what I think I do.. Forgiving Alex is the last option. "Maxwell, the pack doctor has something that will help. He uses it for people whose mate's died." So we head over to Maxwell's.

"Alpha, beta," he bows his head in submission.

"We need the serum." Andrew says in a hard tone. Maxwell shakes his head.

"It lasts for the first three years. It will feel like you never met your mate. Even if you do find your mate, you will never know until the four years are up. Do you understand? The only thing that can break it is if your mate see's you and accepts you." He tells me. I just nod and he goes and gets a syringe, filling it up with a pink liquid that's glowing. He injects me in the arm with it. Darkness consumes me and I feel a weight lifted.

2 years later……

All the alphas have moved closer to the middle of the United States until the rogue wars are over. We're spread out between states but we're still closer than we were. There's at least eight packs in each state. We have fifty two packs all close together. It's driving them crazy. Almost everyone else is not their mate, thanks to the packs being closer together, it's made it much easier. We've trained and we've trained and we've trained and I think we're ready. I don't want to wait three more years until this war is over. I want it over before they can build their numbers even more. They've been breeding she wolves that they've captured. We found a couple places, it's broken every single person that's gone in there.. The only thing that helps them is their mate. We find their mates quickly so they don't die, but sometimes it's too late and they just kill themselves.. Moon goddess, I think it's time for us to go to them. I don't want to wait any longer. "It's too early, my child, unlock their potential each one of them has a gift. Find the last person to save and then it will be time." She says and I groan, tired of waiting for this battle to begin. But, every war needs to be prepared before entering or the casualties will be many. Just then, Alex walks up and taps me on the shoulder, this has been a recurring thing. I roll my eyes and turn around.

"What do you need, alpha Alex?" I ask in a dull tone. He smiles at me and kisses me on the cheek. He's been trying to win me back these past two years, probably because he found out I'm the queen. I have no clue if my mate is out there or if the moon goddess will keep her promise. I just know one thing, we have three years left and I have to find my mate. This is going to be fun..
