THIRTEEN
The doctor arrived a short time later. While he was in checking on Bobby, Sal called Sandy.
“Hi, Sal is anything wrong?” asked Sandy.
“No, I just wanted to let you know Bobby woke up again. The doctor is with him now. He doesn’t seem to remember anything that has happened,” said Sal.
“How can he not remember what has happened? He remembered when he woke up before,” said Sandy.
Minnie leaned back in his arms and looked inquiringly at Sandy at his words. Sandy squeezed her shoulder in reassurance. “
“I don’t know what is going on,” said Sal. “I’ll have to talk to the doctor when he comes out of Bobby’s room.”
“Okay, Minnie and I will be right over,” said Sandy.
He hung up the phone and helped Minnie stand as he rose from the sofa.
“Is Bobby alright?” asked Minnie.
