Of course, it wasn’t entirely unknown. Alphas and high-ranked wolves, with the Alpha’s permission, were able to leave their respective packs and visit where the humans resided when the situation demanded it. However, they refrained from doing it too much because the natural behaviours and instincts of werewolves made the difference between the two species stand out too much. It was a risk they weren’t willing to take unless the situation demanded it.
