I was looking at him, his words hung like a lead weight, demanding to be answered. My heart was stammering wildly.
"Before you say anything...I know I zinged with you." He whispered. I busted out laughing. He looked hurt but I couldn't help it.
"Zinged?" I laughed harder. "What is this, Hotel Transylvania??" I was pulling away when he yanked me to him.
"We don't have mate bonds. We zing." He whispered seriously, intently looking into my eyes and I gulped.
