"Earth to Sabrina."
She distantly heard Edward saying as she towelled off, after their shower.
Which slowly dragged her back to reality.
"What?" She said, as she blow dried her hair.
"Where did you go this time around?" He frowned at her, in the mirror- from where he was standing behind her.
"I- er," she stammered.
"And please don't feed me that bullcrap about brain fog again, Sabrina." He pleaded with his eyes tightly shut.
"I guess I've been worrying again." It wasn't really what she had been doing, but she figured it would be a perfectly easy to sell lie.
Especially since worrying about the pandemic, lockdown, her friends and family had been a big part of her stress causes.
And this was no secret to him too.
