Chapter 7
Emily flipped through a magazine she’d found on the coffee table as she waited in the lobby of the Christmas farm’s administrative building. She had applied for the job as soon as she got home after picking up her car and had been pleasantly surprised to receive an email interview notice for today a few hours later.
She’d expected a tiny business operation but had been surprised to enter a large farm filled with acres and acres of Christmas trees with a large administrative building at the center of it all. The building’s lobby was designed in a mix of pleasing modern and Christmas themes without being gaudy, and a faint pine scent filled the air. The whole place looked warm and inviting. Emily hoped she would get the job.
