Grace's POV. 'I don't think I can do this.' I finally texted Meghan after sitting in my car for almost twenty minutes. I only had a few miles left to go before reaching pack territory and I was doing fine. But as soon as Black Peak Mountain came into view, I lost my nerve. I white-knuckled the steering wheel so hard that my hands began to ache - my breathing grew shallow and rapid, and my stomach turned upside-down so fast that I had to swallow the sick that was crawling up into my mouth.
