Grace's POV.
"Grace! Hold up... wait!"
I turned around to find Alexis hurrying toward me.
I considered ignoring her or just turning back around and pretending that I didn't see her at all.
But then it occured to me that that's exactly the kind of thing that Alexis would do and I felt silly for even thinking about it
Even though I was in no mood to deal with her at all, it was obvious that I had heard her and that I had seen her.
I had been able to avoid her sucessfully up until this moment.
I let out a heavy sigh just as she reached us and hoped that my irritation and impatience showed on my face.
"I'm so happy that I finally caught up with you... I've been looking everywhere for you."
"How strange, Alexis, that's exactly where I've been trying to avoid you."
