“The moment I disappeared I had a vision of a woman, hiding her child. Later I saw a man sitting on a throne. It was him. The time stopped for a few moments and I saw this older man. He told me that I stopped time and that I’m powerful and he showed me who he was.”
Hei looked at Josephine surprised.
“What do you know about Chang’e?”
“Who?”
“Goodness of the moon. It is said that she was his mother.”
“I don’t know we witches believe in Rhiannon.”
“I know you guys do.”
There was comfortable silence between them. Hei touched her hand and that’s when she got the vision.
She saw Ling having meeting with her step father. Josephine heard the entire conversation and then the scenery changed. The girl saw Ling helping her step father kill her father.
Josephine stood up quickly from the bed. Ling was so surprised and tried to touch her again.
“What happened?!”
“Don’t touch me! You murderer!”
Hei got shocked. How did she?!
“What are you talking about?”
“Shut up Ling or should I say Hei because that’s your real name isn’t it?”
