Josephine was sitting on her bed. The open letter was in her hands. She just couldn't believe the contents of the letter. Dear daughter, happy birthday, if you are reading this you probably turned eighteen. A really serious age, the most important age of your life. You are most definitely surprised that you got something from me. There is a reason why I am not in your life. I'm dying. If you are reading this it means I am already long dead because, if the reality was different I would tell you everything personally, face to face, if I was in your life you would never have to go through the pain, lies, hiding, and secrets. However, I do not write this letter to put you in too much shock. Read next worlds carefully. I am almost certain you study in Joan of Arc Academy. I have no idea what you achieved or what you will achieve but Josie, my baby you should know I am proud of you and always will. Pumpkin you are and always will be a gift from God for me, a dangerous gift. Inside the envelope there's also a key. This weekend, just after your birthday, you will go to London and you will visit Dragon&Wolf Company. In the reception, you will say that you want to see Anne Edwards. When you meet her, give her the key and ask her to unlock your memories. Don't tell anyone, not even your mother, why you are going to London. What will Anne show and tell you will stay between you two. Make sure to burn this letter and use my surname when reception asks you about your name. I love you, your papa. Edward Stephenson. P.S. Be aware of the dragon. 'Who, the hell is this dragon?' Josephine thought to herself. The letter from her father gave her more questions than answers. However, one thing was clear, she needs to get to London maybe then she will get some answers but, what will Josie tell her mother? While on the train, she had doubts. Josephine didn't know the woman she was supposed to meet. What if her father lied to her? What if she ends up hurt? She never really knew her father. But it was too late, she was already close to London. There's no turning back now. Good thing for her was that her mother believed her, when Josephine said she had to catch up on her school work on a weekend. However, she had Josephine promise, that next week she will visit her hometown. The train stopped on Waterloo Station. The nervous girl left the train and went to look for the tube that will take her to greater London. Once, on an underground train she was even more anxious than before. But nothing will beat the feeling she had as the one, Josephine felt while standing under tall skyscraper. Josie had a gut feeling that something will happen but there was no say if it was supposed to be bad or good thing. Once, again she though that she still had time to turn around and leave but the girl just couldn't, she had to find out who was the dragon. Teenager entered the reception and was blinded how bright and white the place was. No sign of a dust. She slowly approached the reception desk and said ''Good afternoon. I am supposed to meet with Mrs. Anne Edwards?'' ''Name?'' asked her receptionist. ''Josephine Stephenson. Woman looked at her surprised however, she quickly shook herself out of it and said ''Eighteen floor. Anne's office had huge brown, wooden doors.'' ''Thank you'' said Josephine and went to the lift. 'There's no turning back now' she though went elevator started going up. She knocked on wooden doors and heard ''Come in!'' from the inside. The girl turned the knob and went inside, her nerves eating her up. She never knew her life completely changed while she entered the office. At the same time a group of thirteen men were siting around a long table in a dark room. ''He's late.'' said one of them while looking at his watch. ''We shouldn't have trusted them. They will betray us and will use the girl against us, I'm telling you.'' Suddenly mahogany doors opened and a tall, young, Chinese man entered the room. ''Good afternoon gentlemen, my name is Hei An Liu and I'm from Long clan. You wanted our help with something?'' The man sitting at the top of the table, stood up. ''Hello my name is Luca Stewents and it's about my step-daughter.''
