Feelings Awakened

"I would apologize, but I have been wanting to kiss your sexy lips all night."  I blushed surprised that I had been so intimate with a man.  I wonder what my parents would think, were they watching me?  He pulled me in and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.  "Would you like to go eat with me?  Maybe get some ice cream at this lovely little diner up the street?"  I looked into his beautiful eyes and I couldn't tell him no.  I should tell him never to touch me or kiss me again.  I should walk away and never look back, I'm a taken girl.  I couldn't do it though, I could not tell this man no.      He was easily the most beautiful man I had ever laid my eyes on.  I smiled at him and nodded, it couldn't hurt anything to make a friend right?  We were taught to love everyone and be a friend to all so I believe my parents would be proud of me.  I wish I could call them and talk to them, but I had to communicate as little as possible so the children of the darkness wouldn't sense me here.       He tucked his hands into his jacket pockets and motioned for me to follow with his head.  I watched as he walked with his head held high and wished I had his confidence.  I also was not blind to the effect he had on women as he passed.  They all turned to look at him and smile or giggle and he usually would give them the side eye and smirk.  I felt jealous, but I had no reason to.  This man was not mine and he never would be.     He opened to door to a 1950's style diner.  I loved studying about this time period, everyone was so innocent and sweet.  The poodle skirts were adorable too.  It was almost like he knew this information about me, but I knew that wasn't possible.  He walked me up to the counter and we ordered our food and milkshakes.     "I'll be right back, don't go away," he winked walking to the bathroom.  I couldn't help but smile until I was tapped on the shoulder.  I spun around to see a smiling golden haired boy.  "Hello there, I'm Thomas!  I wanted to tell you that you have to be the prettiest girl I have ever seen. Was that guy your boyfriend?"  I laughed, "It's nice to meet you Thomas, I'm Alora and thank you. No, he's just a friend."  "I would love to hang out sometime with you, maybe get a coffee?  Are you a student at NYCU?"  "I am I just moved into the dorms today."  "Really? Which dorm are you in?"  "I'm in Grovemont Hall."  "Oh wow, I am in Hilton Hall right next to your building.  Maybe we will have some classes together."       I start to reply when I feel a rush of cold air behind me and I suddenly know Draven is back.  "I suggest you leave, she's not interested."  Thomas looked between the two of us and I suddenly looked at the floor feeling very uncomfortable.  "I was just talking to her man, she said she wasn't taken."  "She's mine.  Leave now, I won't ask again."  I looked back at him and I could swear his eyes were darker black than before.  He looked scary and I shivered as his gaze looked down into mine.  "Look I'm not scared of you, but I'll go.  I don't want to make her uncomfortable.  I'll see you at school Alora." I forced a smile and a nod before turning back to the counter.     Draven positioned himself directly behind me with his arms on either side of me on the counter.  The waitress handed him the food and he led us to the table with his hand on my back.  I could feel the anger radiating off of him.  We never had anger where I was from, only righteous anger.  I had studied all the emotions, but jealousy, anger, and threats were not something I had experienced myself.       I gave him a look from across the table, "You didn't have to do that you know.  He was just being friendly." He stopped in the middle of eating his burger and looked up at me.  I squirmed under his gaze, why did he have this effect on me?  "I do not appreciate another man thinking he can have what is mine and you will be mine."  I tried to reply, but I felt like I had lost my voice.  He was looking so deeply into my eyes I felt frozen and could only nod in response.       "So Draven, do you go to the university? Are you a student?"  He snorted, "No, I don't believe in higher education.  I am training to take over my family business."  "Oh, what kind of business?"  He leaned back and smiled, "It's difficult to explain.  We're in the business of government you could say, we work to bring people to our side."  "Oh, so it's a political company?  How interesting!  My family does something similar."  "I bet they do."       "So are you a virgin Alora?"  All the blood drained from my face as I froze, "Um, well my family believes in staying pure until marriage.  Everyone back where I am from waits until marriage."  "Where's the fun in that?  Do you not like for your body to feel pleasured? Because I know I would like to make you feel pleasure."      I was sure my blush couldn't get any deeper.  "Well I, um, I have kissed a boy, besides you.  Back home I had a boyfriend I guess you could call him.  It is sort of expected that we will marry one day.  Our families are very close and we have always been close.  He is a great guy, I really do like him."  "So you are promised to someone?  He couldn't kiss you like I did.  I could tell you had never been kissed like that."  I thought about kissing Apollo and how it was always sweet and innocent, not full of passion.  His kisses never made me want to do more.  I had never felt tempted by a man until now.     "You're awfully confident, aren't you?"  He smirked, "I have never had a problem getting a woman I want so why wouldn't I be?"  "Humility is an important trait to have. It is something you need to be a good person."  "I don't have any desire to be good, especially not with you.  I want to do everything bad with you."       What was he talking about?  What bad things did he wish for me to do?  Maybe he wanted me to steal something or lie to someone.  Well I wouldn't do it, I wouldn't let him led me astray.  "What do you mean by bad things?"  "Oh you'll see in time gorgeous.  For tonight I should take you back to your dorm."       We finished up our food and got up to leave.  He winked at the waitress as we passed and she giggled.  We talked about the city and people as we passed.  I noticed he liked to make fun of others and I didn't think that was a very good thing.  We walked up to the door of my dorm and he stood in front of me.  "I will see you again Alora, soon."  He pulled me in and kissed me and I felt my body wrap into his.  I felt senses being awakened in me that I had never felt before.  His tongue pushed its way into my mouth and I gasped in shock.  He pulled back and I felt breathless.  He looked into my eyes, "Goodnight gorgeous."  And with that he left me standing there alone and confused.
