As I was talking to my friend Eliana while sitting in the back of the class beside the window I looked outside the classroom and I see a couple of birds sitting on a tree while wandering, I look up the sky and notice that it's cloudy and dark.
"Hey! are you even listening to what I'm saying?" I looked back at my friend and notice her face expression, she's annoyed.
"I'm sorry, my mind drifted." I said and looked around the classroom and noticed that the teacher is still not here. She sighed and went silent for a second before looking at me again.
"I have a thought." I look at her boredly and crossed my arms.
"Don't tell me one of your supernatural thoughts again I'm tired of hearing it." I said and looked outside but then she grabbed my chin.
"Just listen okay?" she went silent for a second while looking at my eyes before opening her mouth.
"What if werewol-" I cut her off.
"What if werewolves were real blah blah blah you always wonder about that, why do you even believe on such things that obviously sounds fake?" I scolded her and she rolled her eyes while playing with her pen.
"You know I'm addicted to supernatural things even though it's not real I still believe that it's real." I sighed and didn't say anything.
"You seriously need to stop thinking about those nonsense, you're getting crazy day by day." I said and she rolled her eyes again so I glare at her.
She was about to talk back when we suddenly heard the bell rang that means it's end of classes now. We packed our papers on our desk and when we finished fixing everything we immediately walk out of the room.
"I think it's gonna rain in a few minutes, I was looking outside earlier when you were talking about something and I noticed the sky getting darker." I checked my watch. "It's still 1:30pm though so I'm sure it's gonna rain in any minute now." I added and she cling to my arms.
"I have no umbrella girl and plus we both gotta walk back home." she complained as we finally reach the exit of the school.
We were about to step out of the school when it suddenly rain so hard so we stopped.
"Seriously?" she whine so I look at her with an annoyed face.
"Can you please stop complaining and whining, it's annoying me Eliana." I glare at her.
"Oh wait there's a new cafe just beside our school, do you wanna go there and stay until the rain stops? we have no choice anyway." she asked so I looked at her before looking back at the rain.
"yeah sure let's go."
We walked outside and luckily there's a roof covering the sides of the school so we're not wet from the rain. We kept walking until we saw a small cafe, I look up and noticed that the school roof ends close to the cafe so I grabbed Eliana's hand and we ran to the cafe and when we touched the door we immediately went inside.
I look at her giggling.
"You didn't warn me luckily we aren't wet from the rain." she said so I just smirked at her and look around the cafe.
There aren't much people here but the cafe looks really cozy, the wall is colored pink and the seats are fluffy while the table is low. I looked at the corner of the cafe and my eyes grew bigger when I saw cats on their cage so I grabbed Eliana's shoulder and shake her.
"Oh my gosh girl, you didn't tell me there's cats here!" I said excitedly and she looked at me smiling and she put my hand down off her shoulders.
"I didn't expect that too let's go order something and wait for the rain to stop."
she said so I nodded and look at the cats before walking to the counter.
"How about you order? I'm gonna go look at the cats just order mine with the same of what you're gonna order." I said to her and she nodded.
I walk towards the cats cage and I swear my pupils is gonna be a heart shaped if I keep looking at these cuties.
As I keep looking at the cats a guy with a uniform suddenly approached me so I look at him.
"Hello! wanna rent a cat at the cafe? you can have them for minutes while you stay here it's only 20 dollars."
I smiled at him and grabbed my wallet and gave him 40 dollars.
"I want two cats please" I gave him the money and he wrote something on his paper.
"Go to your seat now ma'am so we can bring you the cat to your table."
I nodded and I look around and saw two seats beside the glass wall of the cafe so I went there and sit on one of the fluffy couch.
I look at Eliana still on the counter and I look up and saw that she's on the claim waiting line so I guess she already ordered and waiting for our food.
I look down and played with my hands. I heard the door of the cafe opening so I look up and I slightly blushed when I saw a tall man entering the cafe.
He walk towards the counter and talked to the cashier. I looked at Eliana and didn't notice that she finished waiting for our order, she placed our order on the table and sit infront of me.
"girl did you see that man in the counter?" I asked her and she looked at me confused and look behind her and she immediately look at me with her eyes wide open.
"girl he looks handsome!" she screamed silently so I just laughed and I look at him.
He's wearing a black business attire and he looks tall even though we only see his back he looks intimidating enough.
I grabbed my chocolate drink and took a sip while still observing him, after a few minutes he sat close to the cats but he's one table away from us so he's really not that far.
I noticed that he's really pale but still handsome I looked at his hands and it looks veiny and the rings on his fingers only adds attraction on him.
I caught the boy from the cat cages and he's walking towards us with the two cats so I rose from my seat and smiled at him.
"thank you!" I thanked him and he put the cats beside us, the ginger cat went closer to Eliana and so does the other black cat.
I gently hold the black cat and I instantly felt like I'm in heaven just by feeling his fur.
"Girl I like this cat." Eliana said and I looked at her taking pictures with the cat.
"yeah this is the best cafe ever." I said while still playing with the black cat.
after a few minutes of playing with it my eyes accidentally landed on the man I was staring at earlier and my eyes slightly wide open when our eyes met.
He kept looking at me and so does my eyes but there's something wrong, he's looking at me like I just did something to him.
I raised my eyebrows confusingly and his eyes became cold and he stood up and left the cafe.
I looked outside and didn't realize that the rain was gone.
Why is he looking at me like that? who is he?
