Chapter 7

Zachary

I got out the bed and started to get ready for the day I was so excited. Today was day that Diamond got to come meet my Luna and her brothers. I rushed downstairs to see my staff. I wanted everything to be perfect so I had them to gather around to tell them just that. I mean Diamond never lived in a pack house so I wanted her to feel welcomed.

After talking to the staff I went back upstairs to my bed room where my luna rested. I smiled at the sight of her she was so amazing to actually want to meet my daughter before her and our cubs. I kissed her lips.

"My wonderful Luna it's time to get up and get ready."

"Is it. What's so special about today?" she teased with a huge smile on her face. I loved the way she teased.

"DIAMOND IS COMING." I said with excited as I jumped on top of her. She smiled then sat up and gave me a kiss. She looked me in my eyes.

"I love how excited you are for us to meet her. But isn't she coming for dinner it's 7 in the morning." she said

"I know I just want to get everything done before dinner so that we wouldn't have any interruptions."

"I understand but don't rush yourself. You're not as young as you use to be my alpha." She giggled then jumped out of the bed. She went into the bathroom and I watched her until she s**t the door I then walked to the bedroom door and exited the room. I walked down the hall to my eldest son and knocked.

"Ryan." There was no answer. I knocked again. "Ryan" this time I didn't wait for an answer I opened the door and just like I expected he wasn't he his room have been made up so neat as if he didn't even sleep in there. I shut the door then made my way downstairs where I seen my beta.

"Hey Derek you seen Ryan?"

"I'm not a cub keeper I'm a beta."

"And his godfather." we giggled

"He's where he always is."

"Thanks man."

"Next time remember you're an alpha wolf and mind link him." he smiled at me.

" Next time remember You're a beta and answer me without the sas."

We both giggled and we walked away. I made my way to the training grounds. I watched as he trained shifting from wolf to human and just moments. Its was quicker then I have ever seen someone shift. He was using our warriors in human and wolf form to attack him and he shift between the two fighting. I finally stepped in. He looked at me and held his hands up to the warriors.

"Dad."

"Ryan." He smiled

"What's up dad."

"You wanna try that on a alpha."

"Thought you would never ask."

I stepped into the ring and shifted he shift at the same time.

"Mikale give him hell."

We sparred for at least three hours. Ryan was good he was better than he started he really made me proud that he was the one to take over as alpha. He almost got me a couple of times without experience of being alpha for years he would have won a couple of our battles. He was surely stronger than I was at that age.

"You know son you make your Alpha proud. But more importantly you make your father proud." I gave him a hug.

"Thanks pop now lets get you some water before you faint. You're not young anymore."

"You been talking to your mom?"

Before he could answer I heard Diamond.

"Dad. help me please."

"Where are you?"

She sounded as of she was in panic.

"Dad please help."

"You have to tell me where you

are."

"Acorn...."

She faded away. I couldn't believe what happened I looked at Ryan.

"Dad what's wrong?"

"Your sister I need to go."

"I will come with you." I looked at him for a second.

"Okay mind link Derek tell him to meet us outside.

He nodded.

"Sweetie something came up

I have ryan and Derek. Be back

soon love you."

I mind linked my Luna then took off for the door ryan was right behind me he was fast. We met Derek out at the front door.

"Car?" he asked

"Wolf speed faster we need to go now and fast."

We all shifted and took off into the wood. I imaged she was talking about acorn road and I hope that i was right because I could tell she was hurt and I would haye myself if I were to late to save. Acorn wasn't that far running but in a car it would have took hours because we would have had to go around. We ran until Mikale stopped.

"What's the problem Mikale?"

"She's here."

"Okay so why stop?"

"Pack territory. Not ours."

"I don't care get us close then

I'll take over."

He did just that we looked around and seen that the property look like its been attacked in the last hour or so. I looked at Ryan and Derek with concern. I didn't see Diamond any where. I looked at the house. She had to be here cause her scent was here.

"Dad I will knock on the door to see if she is here. You know since I'm not alpha they might not think we are a threat."

"Okay." I said lost of words.

He knocked on the door and it opened.

Diamond

I never been in a battle before. I lived among humans for my entire 21 years of life. So me helping them wouldn't be a great idea. But I couldn't just let them get attacked they were my mate's pack and soon to be mines and I couldn't let my pack get destroyed where I'm there luna now or later they are still my pack. I decided that I would help them. But not as my goddess I couldn't even control that side of me yet but Dad did train a little with Dyamond.

"Dyamond let's show them what you got."

"Okay here we go." I shifted and all I could do was watch as she did her thing. Dyamond was strong I guess that have something to do with my alpha blood. I didn't feel in control but I could see everything that was going on. I was like being in a VR game. Dyamond was fierce like she have been fighting for years. She ripped through the wolf that was attacking her with ease. This one wolf actually paused for a second and gave her a nod as to say thank you for helping them. She nodded back at him and that made me smile already being helpful and I'm not even their Luna yet it was an odd way to be introduced but at least I would be introduced. All of a sudden I feel a sharp pain and I was no longer shifted. I felt my body hit the ground. I seen the wolf that nodded at me jump over me. Then him shifted back to hus human form. I didn't know what was happening my body pulsing. l felt my body going dead and I realized what was happening. I was going to miss my dad dinner. "I'm so sorry dad." I whispered

"call for him." a whisper came from the air.

"He's so far?"

"He'll hear you."

I hesitated for a second.

"Dad please help me." I mind linked

"Where are you." he responded

"dad please help." I felt so faint

"You have to tell me where you

are."

"Acorn..." my eyes closed and everything went black.

Terry

I fell to the ground holding my side. The pain I felt was worst then wolfsbane. I looked at the goddess she looked just as shocked as I did. "What's wrong?" she said

"My side I don't know I just feel a very unbearable sharp pain." she looked completely nervous. She closed her eyes as if she could see and hear something I couldn't. I watched her lips move. She was saying something about someone's dad. I stared at her as she talked. She then looked over at me.

"The pain should stop in a second."

"What did you do something to me?"

"No.." she paused "It's Ember. She's."

"She's what?" I asked confused.

"Hurt. Badly"

"Badly. I have to get to her. "

"I agree. But I must tell you that prophet is true. You must do as your father told you and kill the woman who SAID these words. She's the goddess daughter."

Was she really telling me to kill Ember my mate. She must think Im stupid the moon goddess would never tell me to kill my mate or her daughter.

"I won't kill Ember." I said to her in a low angry tone.

"Not Ember Aldreena."

"Who Aldreena." I asked she didn't respond. I seen a flash of light and then I was standing on my land. I turned to see my pack crowding around I looked at my pack. They looked as if they were attacked. I pushed my way through the crowd. I then saw a person laying on the ground I moved faster. I looked.

"Ember? EMBER!" I said loud enough for everyone to back off of her. My beta looked at me then at her.

"I guess you know her."

"Yes. She's my mate." The crowd of wolfs from my pack gasped at the words. I now had tears in my eyes and Ember in my arms I walked her into the pack house. I stopped at the entrance if my bedroom and turned to my beta.

"Justin find out everything you can about an Aldreena. I know she's behind this."

"On it." Just then we heard a knock at the door. I looked at him and told him.

"I'll get it."

"Answer with caution."

He nodded his head then went to answer the door. I opened my bedroom door and walked over to my couch to lay Ember down. I couldn't help it. I kneeled by her and put my head on her stomach and being to cry. This couldn't be happening.

Goddess??

I watched as Ember laid on the ground. Tears began to form in my eyes but I had to guide her one last time.

"Call for him."

"He'll hear you."

I told her she finally called for her dad and then passed out. I looked over at Terry.

"Your pain should stop in a second." I told him knowing that Diamond was now injured. He began to talk and I couldn't help but to think about my daughter and i knew exactly what to do. It was time for me to send Terry back down to earth. It was also time for me to get to her before Aldreena could.

I explained to Terry how his prophet was true and how he needed to mill Aldreena. I was sure for a second that he figured I was talking about Aldreena. I wanted to explain things to him fully but he was asking the wrong questions for the time. I needed him to get her to a safe room along and quickly so I send him back without answering any of his questions. I looked at her dad with in minutes if his return Zachary was standing at the door knocking.

"Hold on sweetie I'll be there soon.

Zachary

After Ryan knocked on the door it only took a few seconds for a young man to answer the door. I looked him over he was tall with black wild hair and golden glowing eyes indicating that he wasn't the only one standing there but his wolf was as well he was big like 6'9 But not quite alpha size. This must be this pack's beta. He looked at my then Ryan then glanced at Derek who was farther back from the porch making sure all our bases was cover. Ryan stepped forward.

"Hi I am Ryan and this is my father Alpha Zachary and that man down there is our beta Derek. We are here looking for a woman."

The guy smirked at Ryan then looked at me. "Its alot of woman here be specific."

I couldn't help but giggle I like this man style but enough with the game.

"My daughter, His sister. And he's mad." I nodded my head to Derek who was now right next to my and Ryan. The guy looked at us and smiled.

"I can't wait till we because brother packs. You must be the mate's father." he then stepped aside for us to come in. Derek just stood there on the porch.

"Is he coming?"

"You coming?"

"No I'll stay here make sure there are no surprises.

"I got your back." I said

"I got yours."

"I cover you, You cover me."

"Then we're both covered."

Alright mind link me at any sign of trouble. He nodded and my and ryan proceeded to walk into the pack house.

"So that cut on your jaw. Is it recent."

"Like an hour old. If you call that recent."

We walked through a long hallway just to go up some stairs to walk down another hall turn left then walk up another flight of stairs into these double doors. That's when his scent hit me and hit me hard.

"Terry!" I said he lifted his head with tears in his eyes.

"I'm so sorry. I was to late. When I got her.."

"Too late, sorry, what are you saying?" I cut him off. I walked around the couch and there I saw it. Diamonds Lifeless body on the couch. I dropped to my knees and felt the tears roll down my cheeks. I touch her cold hands. I rubbed her hair while I held he hand and looked at her I couldn't believe this was happening. I looked over at Terry then looked at Ryan who was stunned.

"Is she"

"Yes, She is dead." I now could help the waterfall of tears running down my face.

"But I didn't even get to meet her." Ryan voice began to c***k. This can't be happening. Is this really the end of her life. She didn't get to meet none of her brother's. Her mother wouldn't do this to her at all.

"AMORA!" I called for the moon goddess. She didn't respond.
