Agrug proved to be a popular chieftain, although typically absent for long periods as he hunted throughout the land. These expeditions were highly successful, and they often brought back game not found in the hills they called home.
Urgon and Urzath accompanied their chieftain on longer and longer trips, although they had yet to meet any Humans. They were returning from one such trip with skins aplenty when Kraloch met them at the edge of the village.
"It has been a successful hunt," said Urgon. “Look at what we brought back!”
He noted the sour look on his friend"s face and came to a halt. “What is it? Is Zhura well?”
“Zhura is fine,” replied Kraloch, “but your mother is ill.”
“Have you healed her?”
“It is not our way to use magic when age begins to conquer us.”
“Here,” said Urzath.
