CHAPTER THREE

The Blue Blood Kane Pack's New Moon Festival was eagerly anticipated. Both Alphas and Omegas were excited about it. The Alpha's were looking forward to it since it provided an opportunity for their pack wolves to find mates in order to extend their territory, and it also provided an opportunity for the Alpha's to cement peace treaties across territories. The Omega's were expecting it because they were kept out of sight by the other pack members, which suited them all well because they had been granted peace. The Omegas used to regard the new moon celebration as a holiday. They were not obligated to serve either; instead, special servants were selected among the pack's wolves to serve. This particular new moon festival gave Catharina so much joy that she would be content to spend her entire day. Looking through her newly acquired phone, since the phone had belonged to a highly prestigious person like Alpha Kane, it had a lot of unique features that Catharina wanted to explore, so she could use her free time to do so. The air had been filled with the scent of various Alpha's all throughout the day. She had heard about the celebrations and dancing. All the other Omegas took turns going to the bathroom to spy on the festival. It was always such a colourful festival. There was food and wine in the streets, though no Omega had ever dared to defy the curfew that had been placed on them. They were all content to watch the entire festival through the restroom window, which served them just fine. Catharina watched as they all trooped to the bathroom, watching, dancing along. Her room was nearly empty since it was filled with blushing girls hoping for other werewolves to catch a whiff of their scent, which was a futile hope as the party was situated very far away from the Omega’s quarters. Unless one was a member of the Pack, it was extremely difficult to navigate the Kane Blue Blood Pack. Catharina was not bothered by the girls' hope; she had plenty of things to do with her time. She slid under her bed covers, removing the gleaming phone from the rags she had tied it in with. grinned wildly. The phone was so customized that it was not like the regular phone she saw with other pack members. Alpha Kane was truly a strange person. His things would be just like him. Slipping further into the comfort of her bed, she began going through the phone’s features. She was soon laughing hard at some video she was watching on the phone. She soon stopped her laughter as the all-too familiar aura of Alpha Kane gripped her. She began to feel strangled. She frowned. Only one hateful person had the ability to do this to the Omegas. Evil Alpha Kane. Wherever he was going, his scent was always so strong that it usually immobilized those who were weaker than him in strength and power. Throwing the bed covers away from her body, she began to suddenly feel hot all over from the smell of his scent. But little did Catharina know that not all the Omegas felt hot all over their bodies. None of them felt the way she felt, the pleasurable tingle that ran through her as his scent drew nearer. None of the other Omegas in the building felt it the way she did. She was an animal in heat. All the other Omegas had scrabbled to their place of abode within the building. They knew he could decide to come into the building at any time, and anyone caught spying on the festival would be faced with some devious punishments. They all scampered off to their beds. Catharina felt overwhelmed by the sudden hotness in her body. The pleasure was cooing all over her, making her body wet with desire. Struggling to focus, Catharina ran off the bed, to pour water on her hot skin. scared out of her. She took the phone with her for fear of it being discovered. The other girls were snitches and could not be trusted. The only friend she had in the pack was Alina. "Hey, stop there." She heard the command as she was about to enter the bathroom. Catharina froze, still shivering as a fresh wave of pleasure hit her body. The room watcher was a guard Alpha Jake had assigned to each room to catch any rule flounder, giving him an advantage in further dividing the Omegas among themselves. He made them spy on each other. The middle-aged woman walked up to her, giving her a thorough look. "You are acting strange." Catharina forced her body to be still. "It is nothing." "You look sick. " The woman asked suspiciously, saying it loud enough so that attention was drawn to them. Several eyes landed on them. "No, I am not," Catharina answered hurriedly. She tried to push past her, but she was shoved back. "There is something strange about you." The night watcher drawled. Pushing Catharina backwards forcefully, the girl’s head hit a bunk, wincing in pain. Another irritated girl shoved her with great strength forward towards the woman who was waiting in hand with an iron rod to hit her with. Catharina winced and tried to step away. A sudden shrill in the air made both the woman and Catharina jump in different directions. Omega Kuse had rung a soft bell to warn everyone to lie low. For the first time in all her life, she was grateful for the several precautions Omega Kuse had put in place to make life easier for the Omegas. The bell was to tell all Omegas that danger loomed near, which meant there was an extra presence around the building, which prompted all Omegas to act appropriately. He was the only Omega who seemed to be concerned about the progress of the Omegas. She liked the dear old man, Omega Kuse. He was appointed by Alpha Jake to lead the Omegas when the last uproar against the pack began. A story that was forbidden to be told in the pack was made to forget it. She walked to the bathroom wall and sat on her haunches against it. Strangely, she felt soothed and relaxed. She took the phone with her for fear of it being discovered. The other girls were snitches and could not be trusted. The only friend she had in the pack was Alina. Her body was quenched inside the bathroom. She suddenly felt warm. The scent that had once caused her anguish was now acting like a warmer blanket. It was a strange feeling. And it was the new moon festival. She had just been aroused by Alpha Kane’s scent, and that meant he must be close by. He had to be close by. How else would his scent have comforted her so quickly? Scared out of her wits, Catharina washed her face hurriedly. She was about to go back into her hall when she felt stuck. She was unable to move. Catharina began shaking in fear. He would kill her if he saw her there. She would never be believed if she had said her true purpose. Unable to move and frustrated, Catharina bemoaned her sorry fate. She wondered why she was in so much pain earlier. There was definitely a pull there. Wherever he was, she was sure he felt it too. She froze up when his aura gripped her once more. It is much stronger now. Alpha Kane must be around the Omega Building, which was strange. Alpha Kane never came close to the Omegas. Something must be wrong, and she knew, no matter what it was, one Omega was going to be hurt that night. Evil precipitated Alpha Kane. He was a heartless bastard. Thankfully, she was hiding in the restroom, which saved her from the Alpha's assault; even if he did enter the building, he would be too confused by other scents around him to detect hers. Though she could feel the silent foreboding, Evil Alpha Kane did not go to places to have fun; he does not even have fun; he has no idea how; he is simply a killing machine, and he was here at the Omega Mansion, and that was not so good. wits, Catharina washed her face hurriedly.
