Emma's Pov
Huge blue eyes are revealed to me as the man awakens. My heart races once again as our eyes meet. There's confusion in the man's eyes; he blinks his enormous blue eyes as if trying to find focus.
Trying to keep a safe distance, I lift the now awake man's head from my lap and quickly stand up.
"Ouch!" the man says as I place his head back on the ground, "Damn, that was brutal!" he complains for a moment, and his eyes follow my movement, a smile forming on his lips in my direction. "Your lap was much more comfortable, princess," his voice sings the compliment humorously, making me chuckle.
