Matthew' s POV
I sigh as I walk back into the pack house. The training is over, and now I can relax. As an Alpha, I have to make sure that my pack warriors are being properly trained and disciplined. I go hard on them, because of which many of them think I am a tyrant, but it's for their own good.
As I enter into the warmth of the interior, I feel the tension of the day slowly melting away. But I can't help but feel a lingering sense of restlessness, a need to release the pent-up energy that simmers beneath the surface.
Before I can stop myself, I find myself cracking my neck and flexing my hands, a habitual movement that helps to ease the tension in my muscles. It is time to check on Lotte.
