DARK MAGIC2

Ray POV: I got dressed listening to the boys mumbling sorry and going away from the cottage. Roy smacks Oliver on his head. I can hear his ouch all the way from here, he is still complaining that it’s not his fault that the door wasn’t locked. Everything here is relaxed and fun. Even a simple task somehow becomes so much more. I truly belong here, that knowledge makes me smile. I belong with him. I wore a blue floral dress and lovely sandals. The girls dropped it off yesterday with a few other things for me. They are all so welcoming and sweet. I applied the body lotion and perfume Stacey gave me. There is so much in the bag; clothes, perfumes, oils, lotions, jewelry, sandals, and even undergarments. I am still lost looking at everything they brought for me when I hear the bathroom door open. Blaze comes back in the room with a towel showing his sexy body. Water droplets adorn his skill like tiny diamonds. No man alive can look more handsome than him, he looks like a Greek god with all those flexed back muscles. It’s like a sculptor carved his body out of marble. So smooth yet solid. I am lost in lust staring at him. He is so handsome, and he loves me which makes me blush. He is so strong and powerful yet so gentle and caring. I am lost looking at him when he drops his towel. God, I want to run my hands all over him. I am so aroused looking at his back, I want to tell him that I want him, but I know he wants me to wait and understand my emotions. He wants me to explore. Deep down I know, I want him. I want to explore him. Love, I am still not sure what love is? But if I ever loved a man, it would be him. He tells me we need to go and meet the others. Though he promises that he will give me whatever I want when we get back. When Oliver complains about Connor and Blaze needing a door sign, I want to laugh so hard. Oh, it’s so good. Día is happy with him. I will talk to her later about it. I sarcastically say good morning to the boys when they avoid my eyes. Blaze takes my hand, leading us towards Stacey’s cottage. Her little home is beautiful with baby lavender shutters. They look like someone specially created this color for both of them. I have never seen a color sparkle, but this one does. Everything looks magical. Herb pots hanging on the eaves are painted white. Flower beds and a stone walkway with rainbow-colored stones leading up to the cottage. It feels like I am part of a fairy tale. A small garden with a wooden bird feeder and a small stone water fountain for the birds. A pink tiled roof, with vines and melons growing on it. She had two rocking chairs on the porch with a beautifully crafted side table made of stone. The walls are painted white with flowers and vines drawn on them. The rose window has beautifully colored glass forming a sun and a moon pattern on it. All the shutters have colored glass. I see beautiful birds and butterflies all around this place sniffing the brightly colored flowers. It’s a fairy tale house. I would never have imagined this as the lair of a witch, but then again, Stacey is not evil. And it smells amazing, a little sweet and spicy. The smell of fresh herbs and flowers envelops me, it somehow brightens my mood a little more. I am smiling like a lunatic. Can plants really affect our mood, or can they change our emotions? That is something to ponder. Or I can just ask her, she would know for sure. Maybe I will ask her for advice regarding plants for our cottage. It shocks me that I have finally considered something mine When we enter, it’s as chaotic as it is beautiful outside. It’s very well-organized chaos, with so many dried herb branches are hanging on the walls, jars of mushy stuff, and bottles of something that looks dead. I am not asking her what’s in them. I smile widely at Día, she hugs me. She smiles back at me and kisses my chicks. I looked at her and Connor, giving him my best stink eye. Oliver literally yells that Connor is doing a good job keeping Día happy. I don’t know what he saw, but looking at Día, I am not sure if I want to know. They both are happy, that’s enough for me. She deserves happiness and love. I cracked up laughing, looking at the scandalous expression on Oliver's face and the blush and shy smile on Día and Connors's faces. Someone must have said something that I missed. Stacey explains everything in detail. I am so scared listening to her. I hold onto Blaze and Día for my dear life. She does the same. I remember suddenly someone telling me that families can link with each other. I give it a try, “Ummm umm D... D... Día.” “How are you doing this, sis?” “Well, you got it in one try.” “Día, do you want to do this? I am a little scared.” “Me too, Ray. But we need to do this.” “Yes, we do.” “Don’t worry, I am with you; you are not alone anymore. Look at Blaze, he will walk through the fire before he lets something happen to you.” She says, looking happy. “Connor looks the same,” I said, smirking at her. “That he does.” Cleanse, wolf, and comma. Those are some big words. But I am not alone anymore. I have Blaze, Día and all my friends. I don’t know when I started considering these strangers my friends, but it feels good knowing I have people watching my back. We get to the place Stacey points at and take our positions. The potion smells horrible and looks bad, all black and sludgy. My mind wonders about the ingredients, but I don’t even want to know. I didn’t have a choice, so I drank the potion in one big gulp. I am holding onto Día for my dear life when the worst pain of my life makes its presence known. My knees buckle and I fall on the floor burning up. It feels as if my body is on fire. That must be what death feels like. I hear Blaze roaring to get to me.
