The beach house didn't feel like a getaway anymore. It had turned into the base of operations for a silent revolution. What had begun with fire and flying was now planning and accuracy. The sea air that used to promise freedom now seemed to be talking about war. All the windows looked out at the ocean, but none of them did anymore. Their eyes were focused inward, on screens, papers, and the complicated web of links that could either save them or kill them all. Lila stood in front of a whiteboard with red marker stains on it and printed files pinned around the perimeter. The morning light coming through the salt-stained glass made her silhouette stand out. The others watched her from the living room, which had become a battle room. Her newfound allies, each with their own invisible scar
