She never ceased to amaze him, he thought she would have picked out a girlie movie.

When he started getting fresh she threw popcorn at him. "Stop, I'm trying to watch the movie you jerk."

"Jerk," he said, pulling her up and having her straddle him he lifted her top up over her head and removed it and her bra. His hands going to her breasts and he started caressing them. "God I love these, the way they feel and mostly the way they taste inside my mouth," he said, taking one in his mouth and grazing his teeth against the n****e, feeling it get hard.

The movie was forgotten when he sucked on her breast and his hand went down her pants. Next thing she knew he knocked the bowl of popcorn off the sofa, spilling it all over the floor and she was on her back and her pants were being pulled off.

Pulling off his clothes he looked down at her. "Do you want it sweet and tender or hard and fast?"

"Hard but not too fast please," she said, wrapping her legs around his waist, her hands moving over his muscular chest.

The rest of the weekend was spent inside, making love and they even talked more about their childhood and what it was like growing up in a home where there was no love. Monday morning he drove her back to her apartment so that she could get ready for work. He hated the thought of her taking public transportation to and from work, and when he suggested he have his driver take her she flatly refused him.

Before leaving her after dropping her off at her door he took her in his arms, giving her a passionate kiss. "I'm going to be busy for the next couple of days, I'll call you then," he tells her when he left. ***************

Lacey walks into the office building where she works and sees everyone watching her and whispering. There were balloons up and a large cake stood on a table, she wondered what was going on, knowing it couldn't be for her. Spotting Tanya goes over, taking her over to the side.

"What's going on?"

Tanya chewed on her bottom lip and kept avoiding her eyes. "I'm sorry Lacey, I wanted to warn you before you came in but I didn't know what to say."

"Warn me about what?"

"Keith Campbell was given the promotion. I'm so sorry, I know how hard you worked for it and for that jerk to get it just isn't right."

Lacey's face turned red, her fists clenched and turning her head towards Mr. Milton's office took off in a huff towards it. Not bothering to knock she stormed right in, slamming the door behind her, making her boss jump.

The slamming of the door made him jump and he looked up to see Lacey standing there. He could see how angry she was and knew why. "Lacey, I gather you've heard about Keith."

"Damn right I've heard. How could you give him the promotion, that weasel doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground? We all know I'm the best one for the job and I've worked my ass off for over a year now. I brought you more clients and helped to sell more property than Keith will in his whole lifetime."

"Calm down Lacey, I gave it to the person I felt best deserved it. Yes, you have done so much and I appreciate it but this is a family business and with all that has happened, how your s*x life has come to light and not to mention you slept with Mr. Carter who at the time was one of our clients which you knew was against our policy I feel Keith was the best one to pick. He's a family man with a wife and kids, well respected. You, on the other hand, have loose morals."

"Loose morals, are you f*****g kidding me? Keith f***s everything in sight, so much for being a loving and devoted family man."

"Lacey, there is no need for such language, I won't have it. I could fire you but I won't. So just go to your office and do your job like a good little girl," he said, sitting back down behind his desk.

These words infuriated her to the point where she saw red. "Why you ignorant mother fucker, you fat, bald-headed little prick. You don't have to fire me, I quit

She stormed over to the door but stopped to look back at him, his face had gone went pale. "Oh, by the way, Keith also f****d your wife a year ago at the New Years Party," she said, slamming the door walked to her office, grabbed her purse and left the building without saying anything to anyone. ******************************

Liam was kept busy the next two days, what with work and getting Robbie settled into his new position in the software department. So far he was working out and helping in developing a new device for making one of their software apps more user-friendly. His mind over those two days would drift to Lacey, wondering how she was doing and if she was missing him the way he was here. He wanted to call but figured he'd give them both some space.

On the third day, he couldn't take not seeing or hearing from her so he decided to surprise her by showing up at her work and taking her to lunch. He walks into the building and straight to her office, knocking once before entering. No lights were on and the drapes were closed, he found this very strange. Going in he flipped on the light switch and looked around. There was nothing in the office to indicate that anyone had used it in some time. As he turned to leave he bumped into Tanya.

"I'm sorry," she said, apologizing. "I saw you come in here and thought I should come over."

"Where is Lacey?" he asked, ignoring her apology.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm asking you where is Lacey?" he shook his head, thinking this woman was one brick short of a load.

"I thought she was staying with you."

Liam was starting to lose his cool with this woman, taking her arm pulled her inside and shut the door. "Why would she be with me?"

"Well, I've been calling her for two days, even went over to her place and not getting an answer I figured she was staying with you," she said, stuttering her words. As gorgeous as the man was there was something dangerous and scary about him, ...

After all that he still hadn't found her and he was really getting worried at this point. He swore to himself that when he found her he would give her a tongue lashing for worrying him. There was an old abandoned building not far from her place, he didn't think she would be there but thought, what the hell, he might as well check it out.

He stopped in front of the building, getting out of his vehicle he takes off his jacket and tie, tossing them inside the car. He noticed the door to the entrance was open so he walked in, the lights from outside shone through the windows. It was still fairly dark but he could see enough to get around. He got a whiff of her perfume and knew she was here somewhere. "Lacey," he calls out as he walked further in.

The sound of crying came from further down the hall so he headed that way. His heart stopped beating when he saw her sitting on the ground, her head buried in her hands. "Oh sweetheart," he said, his heart going out to her.

Hearing Liam's voice she looked up at him with eyes filled with tears. She got to her feet and stared at him for a moment, her lips quivering. Seeing his arms stretching out she ran to him, letting him wrap them around her.

Moments later he lifted her chin up so that he could look at her when he gave her bloody hell. But seeing the dark circles under her eyes, the smudge of dirt on her face he knew she had been here for a while. He also guessed she hadn't eaten in some time, judging by the state she was in. "I've been looking for you for hours now. Do you have any idea how worried I've been?" When she almost collapsed he caught her in his arms, picking her up and carrying her out of the building and into his car.

Getting on his side he turned to face her, moving a strand of her hair from her face. Her eyes appeared glazed when she looked into his eyes. "I'm taking you back to my place, we'll talk later, OK?"

She nodded and closed her eyes. Not having eaten or slept in two days she felt weak
