I just noticed that the dining room is filled with more people. Then I remembered what Aaron told me before I took my nap. Seems like he was telling me the truth, the whole family is here.

“Princess, I am Darian, this is my wife Ida, we are your grandparents, we live two hours away, remember our doors are always open for you” a guy that looks like my father, but he was older, yet he looks like he is my father age.

“You look young, maybe better looking than the boys’ father” I commented openly. I have a bad habit; I rarely filter my words and speak whatever comes to my mind.

Grandfather chuckled, after he stopped, the sound of spoons clicking against the plate filled the room.

“This is the first time I am hearing him chuckle happily” a younger boy spoke, eyes filled with surprise.

“Shut up boy and finish your food” Darian glared at his grandson.

“Your Grandpa is happy that his princess called him handsome,” Ida laughed while serving her grandson food.

Ida pampers her grandsons. While Cristian and Darian are strict with the boys. No wonder the twins are not welcoming me. Well, it is not like I care, I will not be here for long.

“Boys, introduce yourselves to your cousin sister,” Ida urged her grandsons.

“Hi, Bella, I am Chaz, I am 24 years old, I am working in the family company” he smiled at me,

“Renzo, 22. Gym Trainer,” he stared at me for a while before going back to eating,

“Victor, 20. Working in an IT company owned by me” smilingly widely,

“Zion, !9. Finishing high school”

“Zetic-----o, mmm, I am also 19, yummy” he introduced himself while eating and filling up his mouth.

“Zet, I told you more than once to not eat while speaking,” Ida scold him,

“I am Jaxon, this is my twin Jay, we are 17 years old,” Jaxon said while pointing at his brother who was chewing with his mouth full of food while waving at me.

“Nice to meet you all,” I smiled at the 17 years old more than anyone else.

“So, who was calling you just now?” Jay asked with big eyes,

“I am only answering this because you look terrible with the big eyes” I smirked at him,

“It is my best friend, he is just found out I moved” I informed them,

“You have a boy as a friend, it should stay at it is, friends” Darian emphasized.

“It will. With him at least” I ended the conversation.

“What is your family business?” I asked them, even though I might have guessed it.

“We have our own companies, each specializing in one thing. It varies from home appliances to fashions to skin cares” Alceste answered,

“Nice. What is the name of the company?” I asked curiously,

“Precious B Corporation,” Chaz answered

“Nice,” I nod not interested in it anymore.

“We are planning to hold a party to introduce you to our partners and the world” Cristian spoke with a wide smile.

“Okay. Do I have to prepare my dress myself or you will prepare it as well?” I asked him, as they seem to like making choices for me without asking for my opinion.

“Erm, you can prepare your own dress darling. These men in our family are idiots. Ignore them” Ida smacked her husband and son on the back of their head making them wince. She is strong.

“We are going to watch movies tonight as it is Friday. Normally, on Fridays, it is the family night the whole family will be here and we will do some activities. But since it your first night here, the boys suggested that we can have a movie marathon,” Ida told me as I helped her clean up after dinner, while the men left to set up the living room for tonight.

“That is nice. You are nice,” I commented,

“I noticed that you rarely show emotions,” Ida voiced out,

“Sorry, life has not been easy since the incident where I lost my memories,” I answered her.

“I have too many questions yet no one to help answer it,”

“So, you have been searching for it right” Ida giggled,

“How?”

“I know it causes, your father, grandfather and Al, they have to know the answer to all their questions. They will not stop until their questions are answered” she smiled,

“Oh. I am sorry if I seem uninterested or rude. But I do not feel comfortable living with strangers and a house filled with mostly guys” I told her honestly.

I may have guy friends but living with men. That is still uncomfortable for me, especially since they are still strangers to me.

“Mama, Bells, the room is set up. Come on, we can start the marathon now” Jaxon entered the pantry and came out with more snacks.

“Come on darling, lets’ join the family. Maybe tonight will be the first step to get closer to your family” Ida gave me an encouraging smile. I nod and follow her to a room that has a cinema setting. Woah, they are super-rich. Yesterday, I was looking for more jobs to make my ends meet this month and now, I do not have to worry about looking for jobs.

This why people say, things can change overnight. You go to bed poor today and the next day you wake up in a castle.

I am treated like a princess yet I feel like an outsider. I do not feel like I belong.

I have yet to find a place to call home. Something inside me is telling me to give them a chance to prove to me that I belong.

Yet I am scared to let them in, fear fills me as doubts raises in my head. What if they hurt me? I am no longer in a place where I can get hurt once again. I am too tired of life as it is.

It cannot get worse.
