A Wednesday to remember

As I ran home to go see what mom needed I couldn’t stop thinking of the little talk between i and blue eyes..(And yes I know red hair did most of the talking but still) I got really excited to get to camp..maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea anymore.. I should go shopping,yea I got to go shopping for new things with mum and cora..

All the way home I was planning what I’d get when I go to the mall,I opened the front door and the welcoming aroma of porridge filled the air..I knew instantly that mum was home.. “good evening mum” I yelled “evening dearie” I heard her yell as I run upstairs..I head to my room and bring out my phone ready to give savvy the whole gist when I remember that we hadn’t talked since after our little argument at lunch..So instead of doing that I head to the bathroom and take a quick shower after which I go back down to help mum

Mum please can I ask for something.. “sure baby,what’s it” uhhh..I kinda wanna go shopping in preparation for camp .. “ok..do you want me to go with you” she asks with a smile wait I say utterly confused..you mean you gonna allow me go shopping.. “sure, why not” yeaaaaaa u scream ..mom laughs and shake her head.. “why are you suddenly sooo excited for camp” uhhh nothing I say, I just want to give it a try.. mum eyes me suspiciously and gives a nod before turning her attention back to the porridge in the pot

Later that afternoon i and mum decided we’d go to the mall the next day..i was sooooo excited,this was going to be the best time everrr,even though I wasn’t still interested in surfing I still had to go cause of blue eyes..I just couldn’t wait

Wednesday rolled in pretty quickly and I was so excited it did..and I was more excited cause I got to miss school cause I was in no mood to be there..so when my alarm rang I got up had my bath,brushes my teeth then brushed my sandy brown hair..packed it in a ponytail..I went to my wardrobe and then picked out a mini blue dress which I decided to rock with my block heel which I almost never wore since I practically didn’t go out,I picked up my black handbag and i was ready ..I headed downstairs to go meet mum who was surprisingly ready ..

“Hey there baby..you look good” .. “thanks mum” I say with a smile

“You seem really happy recently,what’s the secret” she says eyeing me “not to mention that you came home happy yesterday” she says as she heads to the fridge and brings out the cartoon of milk “where’s everyone” I ask trying to change the topic.. “uhh,dad had to go for a fan meet up,big bros at work and Cora’s got to be somewhere”

“Meaning we’re going alone,ok,good,let’s go”

“Heyyy,slow down,you haven’t had anything”mum says as she hands me the milk she poured in a glass and a toast.. “thanks mom”

“So I was thinking why don’t you invite savvy to come to the mall with us” mom says and I instantly choke on my toast,I quickly searched my brain for something to say “Uhhm..it’s Wednesday,she has school,you do know I’m skipping school rii”

“Ohhh..true,true” mom says as she picks up her car keys from the kitchen counter while I pour down the rest of my milk ,place the glass in the sink and follow mom

Our drive to the mall was a great one..we stopped to get peanuts ,we listened to my favorite songs on the way there and when we got to the mall mum was sooo excited..more than I was

We got in greeted the woman at the front desk and went into the store..we went around and I tried on soo many outfits and I picked out the ones I liked ..some which were against moms wishes but I begged cause I really needed to look hot during camp..mom paid for the cloths,shoes and she even got me a bag as a bonus and I used some of my savings to get a very pretty hair and that matched a blue cropped top I picked out..I was soooo happy..this day couldn’t get any better..

After a great time at the mall decided that instead of heading home we should go to Ann’s place and get us a treat to make the day complete..I was soooo happy..we got there around 3 and Ann was so glad to see us,mum and I went over to the counter to say hi and were about to go have our sits when I bumped into someone..it was a really messy bump cause I had ice cream everywhere including places I didn’t think was possible

“I am so so sorry” he said as I looked up and immediately my eyes met with his icy blue eyes I froze..literally

Mom noticed and decided to help “hey there,we’re sorry for destroying your desert..I’ll get you another one”

“Ohhh..no,thanks ma’am but there’s no need obviously I’m the one who messed up your daughter..uhh,I mean

“I understand” mum said with a slight chuckle as she gave me a little nudge with her elbows that drew me back instantly

“Uhh..hi,I mean sorry”

“It’s fine,I should be the one apologizing” he says and I could tell from his voice he was feeling a little more than guilty

After the whole apology-thon mom got him another ice cream which my mom paid for and I had to change into Ann’s sweats which was embarrassing and the worst part was before I came out of the bathroom blue eyes was goneee..I was so furious, and ohh,I still have to explain to mum why I froze when I saw him..smooth Jade,real smooth
