It was an hour and a bit on the bus down to Dublin and although the road was smooth and the bus comfortable, Gwyn felt every minute of it despite trying to doze as much as he could. By the time the bus disgorged them at the Busárus in the middle of the city, he was about done. He pulled his bag behind him, down the steps of the vehicle and then stood in a daze, blinking in the thin winter sunlight. “Come on,” Darren said, taking his elbow. “Let’s get a cab.” “Where to?” Gwyn blinked at him. “Air B and B. I found a room while you were asleep.” He humped his pack onto his back, picked up Gwyn’s and took him by the elbow. “Cab. Drop the bags. Food. A&E.” Gwyn blinked at him. “Are you always this bossy?” Darren laughed. “Not bossy. Practical. Come on. The taxi-rank is out the front. T
