Darren had found a room with twin beds and an ensuite. “We can help ourselves to breakfast in the morning,” he told Gwyn as he unlocked the door. “It’s tiny, but it’s clean. I’ve stayed here a couple of times before. The landlord works at the uni. There’s a couple of spare rooms he rents out.” Gwyn nodded. “It’s great,” he said. He sat on the end of the nearest bed and slid his boots off, pulled his socks after them and collapsed backwards, arms spread wide, wiggling his toes. “God, that feels good.
