Chapter 3

1057 Words
As Samantha began planning Jenna's wedding, she found herself working closely with Liam. They met several times to discuss the wedding details and went over every aspect of the ceremony and reception. Liam was heavily involved in the planning process, which was unusual for a groom, but Samantha welcomed his input. As they worked together, Samantha found herself drawn to Liam more and more. She tried to ignore her feelings, reminding herself that he was her client's brother and that getting involved with him would be unprofessional. But the more time they spent together, the harder it became for Samantha to resist the attraction. One day, while they were discussing the wedding cake, Liam looked up at Samantha and said, "You know, I've never felt this way about a wedding planner before. You're different. You make me feel alive." Samantha's heart skipped a beat, but she quickly composed herself and replied, "Liam, I appreciate your kind words, but we can't act on our feelings. We have a job to do, and we need to remain professional." Liam nodded in agreement, but Samantha could see the disappointment in his eyes. She knew that she had hurt him, but she couldn't let her feelings get in the way of her work. Despite their conversation, Samantha found it increasingly difficult to keep her feelings in check. Liam was charming, kind, and incredibly handsome. She found herself thinking about him all the time, even when she was supposed to be working on other weddings. One evening, after a long day of meetings with vendors, Samantha found herself alone with Liam in the wedding venue. They were discussing the seating arrangements when Liam took her hand and looked into her eyes. "Samantha, I can't help how I feel about you. You're amazing, and I know that we could be great together," he said. Samantha felt her heart racing as she looked into Liam's deep brown eyes. She knew that she wanted to be with him, but she also knew that it was a risk. Getting involved with a client's family member was unprofessional, and it could ruin her reputation as a wedding planner. But in that moment, all of Samantha's doubts and reservations disappeared. She leaned in and kissed Liam, feeling a rush of passion and excitement. They spent the night together, wrapped up in each other's arms. Samantha knew that it was a risk, but she couldn't help but feel like it was worth it. Liam made her feel alive, and she knew that she had to take a chance on love. The next morning, Samantha woke up to find Liam gone. She felt a pang of sadness in her chest, knowing that things would never be the same again. She knew that she had to keep her personal life separate from her professional life, but she couldn't help but wonder if she had made a mistake. Over the next few days, Samantha tried to focus on the wedding planning, but she found it difficult to concentrate. She knew that she had to talk to Liam, to figure out what they were going to do. But every time she tried to reach out to him, he didn't answer. As the wedding day drew nearer, Samantha felt more and more anxious. She knew that she had to put her feelings aside and focus on making Jenna's day perfect. But she couldn't help but wonder if Liam would be there, or if he had decided to cut ties with her completely. On the day of the wedding, Samantha arrived early to oversee the setup. She was nervous, wondering if Liam would show up. As she walked around the venue, checking on the flowers and decorations, she spotted him standing near the altar, dressed in a sharp suit. Their eyes met, and Samantha felt a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that they to work together, but she also knew that they needed to talk about what had happened between them. After the wedding, as the guests were leaving and the vendors were packing up, Samantha and Liam finally had a chance to talk. They sat down on a bench overlooking the beautiful garden where the ceremony had taken place, and Samantha took a deep breath. "Liam, I know that what we did was risky, and it wasn't professional. But I can't deny that I have feelings for you," she said, looking at him earnestly. Liam nodded, "I feel the same way, Samantha. But we have to be careful. We don't want to ruin your career or cause any problems with Jenna and her family." Samantha knew that he was right, but it was hard to ignore the way she felt. They agreed to keep their relationship a secret and to continue working together on Jenna's wedding. As they hugged each other, Samantha couldn't help but feel grateful that they had found a way to make it work. Over the next few weeks, Samantha and Liam continued to work together closely, planning Jenna's reception and making sure that everything was perfect. They kept their relationship a secret, but it was hard to deny the chemistry between them. As the wedding day approached, Samantha and Liam's bond grew stronger. They laughed and joked together, sharing a deep connection that went beyond their professional relationship. On the day of the reception, Samantha watched as Jenna and her new husband danced together under the twinkling lights. She felt a sense of joy and happiness, knowing that she had played a part in making this day special. As she looked around the room, she saw Liam smiling at her from across the dance floor. She felt a surge of love and gratitude, knowing that she had found someone who understood her and accepted her for who she was. As the night came to a close, Samantha and Liam shared a private moment outside the venue, looking up at the stars. They knew that they had a lot of challenges ahead, but they were willing to face them together. As they kissed under the stars, Samantha felt a sense of peace and contentment. She knew that their love had started out as a risky endeavor, but it had blossomed into something beautiful. She couldn't wait to see what the future held for them, both personally and professionally.
