After the wedding, Samantha felt a mix of emotions. On one hand, she was happy that everything had gone smoothly, and Jenna and her new husband looked ecstatic. On the other hand, she was sad that she hadn't heard from Liam since their night together.

Samantha knew she needed to talk to someone about her feelings, so she reached out to her best friend, Maria. They had been friends since college, and Samantha knew that Maria would give her honest advice.

When they met up for coffee, Samantha poured her heart out to Maria. She told her everything that had happened, from the first meeting with Liam to their passionate night together. Samantha appreciated her friend's words, but she still had doubts. "But Maria, what if it doesn't work out? What if it ruins my reputation as a wedding planner?"

Maria put a reassuring hand on her friend's shoulder. "Samantha, you're a talented wedding planner. People will hire you because of your skills, not because of who you're dating. Besides, Liam isn't just any client's family member, he's Jenna's brother. If he was just a distant relative or a friend of the family, I would advise against it. But he's someone you've worked closely with, someone you've gotten to know. I think you owe it to yourself to see where things go."

Samantha thought about her friend's words for a while before finally nodding in agreement. "You're right, Maria. I can't keep ignoring my feelings for Liam. I need to talk to him and figure out where we stand."

With a newfound sense of determination, Samantha made plans to reach out to Liam. She knew that it wouldn't be easy, but she felt like she had to take a chance.

The next day, Samantha sent Liam a text message, asking to meet up and talk. He responded quickly, agreeing to meet her at a nearby café later that day.
