The room doesn’t move.
Not after he says it.
Not after the name settles into the air like something heavier than it should be.
No one speaks. No one writes.
Even the smallest sounds disappear, like the entire class is waiting for something that hasn’t happened yet.
And as for master Elric…
He doesn’t continue.
He stands there, the plant still held between his fingers, his gaze lowered slightly towards it as though he is giving us time to look. And more importantly, time to understand.

Not empty.
