"We're here," Anderson said with a smile. It was evident that he counted the clocks, hoping we got here quickly.
He opened the carriage door, stretching out a hand for me. I took it, clasping the document as I made my descent down the stairs.
"Luna Viana, Beta Anderson, welcome. Please come with me," a young soldier said with a bow. Regardless of how composed he tried to be, his tone gave out his worry and fear. Only the moon goddess could tell what went through his mind.
He led us past the guard district and into the woods, through a path adorned with 'danger' and 'keep off' signs.
