Mia’s POV Morning came too quickly. I barely slept. Everytime I closed my eyes, I was back at the overlook, standing beside Loren with the city lights below us and his voice is too steady, too honest, saying things I had been trying hard not to think about. When something happens, you are the first person I think about. Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Because now I could not stop replaying it. And to make it worse, I believed it. That was the problem. I did not only believe what he said, but the fact that a part of me wanted him to say it.
