Viana still doesn't say anything.
Her gaze lowers— not in uncertainty, but in thoughts. Like she is weighing something that doesn’t want to be spoken aloud. Her fingers shift slightly at her side, barely noticeable, but enough.
Enough to stretch the moment longer than it should be.
Anderson straightens just a fraction, like he is bracing without meaning to.
I don’t look away from her.
“Viana,” I say.
Quiet.
“If I am a right…”she says slowly, her voice softer than before, this isn’t just a lead.”
No one interrupts her.
