Chapter 4

I guess I am your new secretary

Richard woke up the next morning feeling sober. He had drunk a lot the following night causing him to be drunk. He shook his head lightly to get rid of the light grogginess still on his head.

In the process, he couldn't help but remember the reason why he got drunk. It was all because of Aria, a female werewolf whom he fell in love with. He always thought that Aria would be his fated mate until he found out yesterday that he had been mated by a wolf from another pack. When he had approached Aria, she had told him that the wolf was her true fated mate.

Richard had always known that Aria is not his fated mate. But at least the two have been together and have been praying to be each other's fated mate. Why can't Aria tell him that she already found a mate. And besides, why is it that she bore no mating pack? Richard couldn't understand a thing. Perhaps he should just forget everything.

He got up from his bed. There was a bottle of table water on a small table beside his bed.

Richard grabbed the bottle of water. He uncorked it, tilting his head back. He took large gulps from the bottled water. After a few gulp, he was finally satisfied and kept the water bottle.

It was then that the memory of what happened when he was drunk resurfaced in his brain. He laughed at himself. He actually took advantage of that poor girl. An Alpha that was feared and honoured in the whole city, actually stooped to the level of taking the liberty of a helpless girl and ripping her off her money.

"Well", he shrugged. "There's nothing I can do now the deed is done. He is not the kind to dwell on one thing.

Clara wore a very short red gown as she walked out from her house. Today she is going to visit the Tanaka group of companies. It was owned by one of his father's friends. Clara had stopped her education for now and decided to walk. She didn't want to go through the formalities of changing school and besides she might actually return at any time, Who knows. Clara checked herself well. She looked beautiful with her High heel and blue gown.

She went down the road to call a cab. Soon a cab stopped and she got in.

In the CEO office of the Tanaka group of companies. Richard was busy going through some books. He had been visually very busy nowadays and really couldn't afford a luxury of time. Having abandoned most of his work last week. The work keeps on piling.

There was a knock on the door. "Come in", he said while leaning back slightly. The door opened. A man dressed in office attire with a long neck type entered the office. He was wearing a smile on his lips.

"Good morning boss". The man greeted him. Richard frowned slightly on seeing the man. He is the HR manager. Richard isn't fond of this man who appeared very crafty.

"What is it now Song". Richard asked casually while looking at a document in his hands.

The man called Song gave a small smile."We will be accepting a new employee. Her identity is very special and since there is not any position left. We can't possibly let her work with the normal labour workers".

"I don't remember if our company is accepting workers by this time. Can't you just tell her there's no work or let work with the common workers?", Richard asked.

"Her identity is very special, she is the daughter of the late Fernando from Osaka", Richard kept silent on hearing that name. He knew who Fernando of Osaka was. He is an able politician and also a capable business man. He is also his father's friend and they had a good relationship.

Above all he is the former Alpha of StarGate wolf Pack. In the supernatural community of supernaturals, the pack is well recognized and has more numbers than other packs. They were even more United more than the other packs. Fernando's name is no doubt a great name. People will do him a favour. Both humans and werewolves.

"So then, what do you plan to do?". Richard asked after pausing for a while. Song nodded as he adjusted his ties.

"She can be your personal assistant. That one is not a bad position. Being your personal assistant solves the problem perfectly since you have no personal assistant at the moment it will even be a good idea".

Richard nodded agreeing with him silently. "I really have to handle a spoiled brat. This is going to be difficult". He murmured under his breath as he continued to go through the documents.

Tap!tap!

A gentle knock sounded on the door. Richard's face turned gloomy. He didn't like to be disturbed while working.

"Come in", he growled. The door opened, Clara came in she was wearing a stunning red dress wearing very light makeup. Yet her beauty didn't diminish at all. Richard was momentarily taken aback on seeing. But his face sank when he remembered their first meeting.

"You!", Clara called out. She couldn't believe this scammer was actually the CEO of Tanaka. "Aren't you a scammer?What are you doing here?". She said pointing at Richard.

"What the f**k are you talking about" Richard shouted. "How could you come to my office and start calling me a scammer, please miss that I am the CEO of Tanaka group of companies. Remember that right".

"Now what are you doing there". Richard was really thick faced. He appeared as if he actually never did a thing like scamming anybody and actually put on a righteous dignified face.

Clara shook her head. This guy is really shameless. She couldn't believe that she will be working with this hunk from now on.

"I guess I am your new secretary", she replied.

"My new secretary?Oh you are the second Luna from StarGate wolf pack". Richard now recalled that song seems to have told him this morning.
