Chapter 8

Amelia POV 

    I was sleeping soundly with my mates naked after we completed the mating process as Raven was purring in my head. It was bliss being with them in bed feeling their bodies as I fill them up. I feel Valeria and Catherine snuggled close as they pressed their soft breasts against mine as they buried their faces in my neck. If they continue to be this lovely and goddamn sexy I will shower them in gifts and kisses. I bring the blanket up and cover us with my magic and joy this moment. But at the early hours of 1am Raven pacing around and growling. 

    ‘Get up Amelia, rogues are coming and by their presence there are a lot but if I had to guess I say 100 of them.’ Raven said.

    I immediately got up as my underworld Selena clothing materialized on my naked body as I looked out my window. I look back at my sleeping mates and smile softly then open my window climb up to the roof as my eyes changed. I stand there as I make a shadow clone and get out two m14 ebr with suppressors attached as I give one to my clone. We load the guns with bullets drip in wolfbane and take aim at where the rogues are coming from. As the rogues start coming out of the trees me and my clone start firing as the rogues start dropping to the ground dead. I mind linked the pack saying rogues are attacking from the north of the pack house and I heard growls as I feel my dad trying to connect with me.

    ‘Where are you Amelia.’ he says.

    ‘I’m on the roof with a clone shooting at the rogues.’ I responded.

    ‘Alright, keep it going Amelia.’ he said and cut the link.

    I stop and look, seeing wolves emerging from the house and running towards the rogues. I went back to shooting as me and my clone provided support as we kept firing. Some rogues tried to escape but were shot as they are being torn apart by my dad and the pack warriors. My clone and I jumped off as the last fall but Raven was jumping around and yipping. Once we were on the land my clone vanished as the rifles disappeared as well, I walked over but Raven wanted to take control so I let her. Raven run over to the tree line scanning it and she saw a child in the bushes. She crouches down to see the child.

    “I won’t hurt you. Come here.” Raven softly says. 

    The child slowly comes out of the bushes being covered with dirt and scratches. Dad and a few warriors came over to what I was doing and saw the little girl but 5 years of age. A pack warrior tried to reach out to the child but Raven growled and faced the warrior with a death. The warrior stopped as he saw Raven's eyes staring at him with a hint of death.

    “DO. NOT. TOUCH. MY. DAUGHTER.” Raven said as everyone there was shocked even my dad was shocked. Raven turns back to the little girl after the warrior retreats back. 

    “What is your name sweetie.” Raven ask

    “I-Isabella.” she said slyly.

    “That's a nice name for a nice girl like you. You get a very old wolf in you.” Raven says.

    Raven picks her up and walks pass everyone back to the pack house as she returns control of my body. Isabella hides her face in the crook of my shoulder as I see mom, Catherine and Valeria standing at the back door wearing their robes. Of course Raven purr seeing them like that damn flirty wolf. We went upstairs to a spare bathroom and I set her down as I started the water filling the bathtub with warm water. 

    After the tub is filled I take the dirty clothes off of Isabella and put her in. I saw the water turning brown, I fully cleaned her as I scrub the dirt from her. I mind link mom to see if we still have Dawn's old clothes for Isabella to wear. I drain the tub of the dirty water and refill it then clean her with body wash and shampoo, strawberries scented then rinse the shampoo out of her hair. I drained the tub a second time and grabbed a towel wrapping it around her taking her out the tub drying her off. 

    Mom managed to find Dawn’s old clothes and left them on the bathroom counter and I dressed her in Minnie Mouse pajamas. I carry her to the room that’s across from mine and place her in bed then place the blanket over her. I walked out as I left the door cracked open and turned the lights off. I walk back across the hall into my room as my Selena cosplay clothes dematerialize then are replaced with shorts & tank top getting in bed. Few minutes later Valeria and Catherine come back to bed.

    When morning comes and the sun is up as I feel my left side lighter as Catherine gets up earlier and gets ready for work as she teleports to her apartment. I try to roll onto my side but there is something laying between my legs and on my stomach so I move the bed sheets then my heart melts seeing Isabella sleeping on me as Raven howls in joy seeing her on us. Valeria wakes as I’d kiss peck on her lips then she sees our little visitor and smiles as she gently moves Isabella’s hair out of her face. Valeria gets up and helps me as she moves Isabella and places her in her spot on the bed. I get up out of bed and goes shower with Valeria as we strip, getting in as she turns the shower on as the warm water comes over us. 

    After showering we grab the towels and dry off as I wrapped the towel around my body as I hear soft sobs and I run out of the bathroom seeing Isabella sitting up. I walk over and sit on the bed edge taking Isabella in my arms holding her as she clutched my towel. I coo and gently rub her back as I kiss her forehead, when I saw her I felt a bond forming like a mother have with her child. 

    “Are you hungry sweetie.” I ask.

     “Yes.” She says with her soft voice. 

    “Alright, let me get clothes on and we’ll go eat” I say as I slide her off next to me. 

    I get up walking over to my dresser taking my towel off and grab a pair of my undergarments, putting them on then my school uniform. Valeria gets dressed as well as she usually keeps a bag of clothes here but now since we mated, I have to think about the living situation like she staying here with Catherine or we’re living with her at home or have our own house. I pick up Isabella as Valeria gets our school bags and we walk out of my room going down to the kitchen seeing mom cooking breakfast as I sit in a stool with Isabella on my lap and Valeria sits in one next to me as she sets our school bags down.

    “Morning girls” Mom says as she turns around with plates.

    “Morning mom.”

    “Morning Mrs. Frost.” Valeria says.

    “Valeria, you’re family now so it’s mom.” Mom said to Valeria.

    “And who is this cutie.” She added.

    “This is Isabella, Raven kinda claims her as hers and I feel a motherly bond form with her as Raven shoots an warrior the death stare and she growled as well. I found her laying on me between my legs when I woke up.” 

    Mom squeals as she comes around after putting the plates down taking Isabella in her arms. She happily smiles as she holds her as I hear footsteps running coming down as I knew it was my dad. I turn around to look and see him as his face shows a lot of emotions but mostly shock, surprise and happiness.

    “Alright, what did you say to him through the mind link mom.” I asked mom.

    “Hehe only that we’re grandparents now.” She said.

    “Alright, Isabella?”

    She turns in mom’s arms and looks at me.

    “Can you say grandma and grandpa? It alright you’re safe here.” I insure her.

    “Grandma grandpa?” Isabella looked at mom and dad.

    “Yes sweetie.” 

    “Grandma grandpa.” Isabella says in her soft voice.

    Dad walked over and put an arm around mom as he embraced them both as I smiled. I see the time as me and Valeria get up from the stools then grab our school bags. I walked over to my parents and Isabella as I kissed Isabella on her cheek.

    “Be a good girl for them momma will come back.”

    Valeria also comes over and kisses her cheek as we say our goodbyes. We left as we got in my car and drove to school but we made a quick stop at Starbucks for our regular coffee. I park the car in my usual parking spot and we run inside as the bell rings after I turn off my car. Valeria and I split as we go to our lockers with our coffee in hand.

    The school day went by fast, I would lie if I wasn’t worried about Isabella during school as Raven was a bit restless. I pulled up to the house as the smell of blood hit my and Valeria's nose as Raven was coming to the surface. We got out leaving our school bags in the car and ran inside as I kicked the front door open and we saw my aunt with her hand up as we saw Isabella's cheek is red. My eyes instantly changed and as I used telekinesis on my aunt as she brought her hand down, stopping her then slamming her into the wall holding her against it. Valeria and I walk over to a crying Isabella and hug her as I heal her cheek while I mind link with my parents telling them to come to the front foyer. When they arrive they’re shocked to see Isabella crying in Valeria's arms and growled.

    “What happened to her Valeria?” Dad asked.

    “Oh let’s ask our spoiled auntie here.” With that they look at the woman being held against the wall.

    “Jeanette?” Dad says.

    “Hello brother, sister, niece” Aunt Jeanette says.

    “Explain now.” I’d growled 

    “That pathetic pup bump into me, making drop my wine drink and got some on my new dress! This is silk!” She screeched.

    “That doesn't mean you can slap a kid, especially my daughter, their granddaughter.”

    “Your daughter? You're too young to have kids Amelia and I, Jeanette Stone, Luna of the Golden Moon pack, challenge you for the position of council head.”

    Oh hell no she did not just challenge me in front of my parents, bride and daughter. Raven is furious and growled. I’m not gonna give up the position to a woman who was spoiled as a kid. 

    “I, Amelia Frost, the next Alpha of the Blue Moon pack and current council head accept yours challenge. The pack’s arena in an hour.” I said and released my hold on her.

Alpha Rex POV

    I was shocked at my sister’s challenge declaration and Amelia’s acceptance as I watched her release her hold on Jeanette and left the house using her vampire speed. I mind linked a few warriors to come and take Jeanette to a guest room and keep her in there for an hour. I looked and saw Valeria and Jennifer walk to the kitchen with Isabella as I mind linked with the entire pack about the challenge.

    ‘Attention please everyone, my daughter Amelia was challenged by her aunt my sister Jeanette, who is the Luna of the Golden Moon pack to the position of council head.’

    I heard growls from everyone through the link.

    ‘In an hour at the pack’s arena is when the challenge will happen. Everyone can come and watch the fight. And you happen to see Amelia before the scheduled time leaves her be as she is not in a good mood.’  I closed the pack link.

    I walk to the kitchen and see Jennifer holding Isabella as Valeria is on her phone talking with her parents. I take my phone out of my pocket and call my brother in law, Alpha Stone as his pack is in the Midwest region specifically Springfield, Missouri. We greeted each other and I told him about the challenge that Jeanette issued to Amelia and by the sound on the other end he isn’t happy. I ended the call after he said he is on his way here, I didn’t want to admit that Jeanette changed since she and Aaron mated but she did.

    After 45 minutes, Alpha Stone, their twin daughters and a member of the local coven arrived as they teleported here. Me and Jennifer greeted them and I bear hugged my nieces as I haven’t seen them in a while as Theo and Dawn come jumping on them. I have 2 nephews and 4 nieces, and if I count Sam’s children then yea I got more extended family. 

    “I’d wish this was under different circumstances Aaron.” 

    “Same man, where is my Luna right now?” He asked.

    “Jeanette is in a room for another 15 minutes for the challenge she issued against Amelia.” 

    “What in her right mind would she challenge Amelia for what is rightfully hers?” Aaron asked.

    “I don’t even know as she signed her own death sentence as Amelia would mostly kill her.”

    “I wish there was another way.” he says as Cara and Lisa sigh. Yes, she is their mother but the challenge will end if one is dead or has conceded and is banished.

    We make our way to the pack’s arena as the warriors bring Jeanette as the arena is a good five hundred yards from the pack house. When we arrived every pack member, men, women and children plus Valeria coven were here as we took our seats. Once everyone chatter stops I raise as I clear my throat.

    “Glad to see everyone here even if they be wolf or vampire. Jeanette, my sister and Luna of the Golden Moon pack have challenged my daughter and future alpha of this proud pack for the position of council head. Since the challenge is between two packs the alpha of the Golden Moon pack, Aaron Stone is here to representing his pack long with his twin daughters as his Luna, their mom is going up against Amelia the next alpha of the Blue Moon pack.” I say as both arena gates open and Amelia and Jeanette come out. 

    “Let’s the challenge begin!”
