“Please stay! We need you,” Luna Diane called out to Alpha Lysander and his subjects.
They all spun to face Luna Diane, who descended the flight of stairs sprawled in front of her with grace. Elise fidgeted in her spot upon seeing Luna Diane, who didn’t even notice her. Luna Rebecca took her hand and whispered, “I will protect you.”
Elise nodded, holding onto Luna Rebecca’s hand as if her life depended on it.
“We are in great danger, and we need as much help as we can get,” Luna Diane said in a teary tone. “We have reached out to all the Alphas, but no one cared to help. How can we possibly send you away when we have no one?”
