“That’s not it… I mean...” I stuttered, then added, “You promised to ensure she never gets to be Luna. It’s only normal for me to think you did that.”
“No, it’s not! It is not normal to think I tried to kill the Alpha’s mate. Do you have any idea of the consequences of attempting something as vile as that?” Ravina raged.
I shook my head. How was I supposed to know? I had spent my life being shielded by her and Lysander; they had doted on me so well that rules and regulations seemed nonexistent to me.
“Have you said that to anyone?” she asked, her eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets. Again, I shook my head. “Have you told anyone or not? You have to answer me!” She grabbed me by the shoulders.
