14 Eli and Bones were filing a police report at the stationhouse when who showed up but Lt. Delbert Hughes. Hughes had a look at the paperwork then summoned Eli into a private office. Bones found a chair and waited nervously outside. They both sat, and after a few moments of cold silence, Hughes said, “Kind of a coincidence you finding this guy.” “Why wouldn’t I be looking for him?” “Why would it be so easy to find him would be my question.” “Mr. Jackson was a childhood friend of Hank’s widow – you know, my client?
