😱 The Man Who Knew Too Much
Lilly's discomfort in the villa was rapidly escalating into panic. She confronted her mother, Georgia, late one evening.
"Mom, I can’t sleep peacefully! This place is making me anxious," Lilly pleaded. "Why are you still holding onto hope for Louis when the doctors said there's none? Why did we have to buy this villa?"
Georgia was about to argue when she was distracted by the sound of gentle singing. Flourous was in Louis's room.
"Lilly! What are you saying? And why are you upset that Flourous is with her brother?" Georgia countered.
"Listen, Mom! I’ve been hearing unknown sounds in Louis’s room, and Flourous says she’s talking to him," Lilly whispered, trying to keep her voice down. "Just ask her why she's singing there!"
Georgia, trying to appear calm, went to Flourous. "Hello, little girl! That’s a lovely song. What are you doing here?"
"I was talking with Louis, Mom," Flourous replied sweetly. "He said he wanted to listen to a song, so I’m singing for him."
Georgia's heart hammered. "Sweetheart, your brother can't talk. How could he ask you that?"
"But he did! He comes to my room and asks me to come to his room so we can play." Georgia was completely astonished by her daughter's confident innocence.
The Basement Revelation
Just then, the doorbell rang. It was Dennings.
"Hey! I told you not to come to my villa!" Georgia snapped, rushing to block the door.
Dennings stood his ground. "Auntie, listen to me. I know far more about this villa than anyone else you know."
"How could you possibly know anything?" Georgia challenged. "Did you research it?"
Dennings muttered, "I've… been researching it for a long time. I think I have a relationship with this house."
"If you listen to me, it will be good for your family. Do you want to know what I found?"
"Fine, what is it?" Georgia relented, intrigued despite herself.
"This villa has a basement," Dennings said.
"A basement? I haven't found any access!"
"Come, I'll show you." Dennings led them to a spot Georgia hadn't explored, and revealed the secret entrance. Georgia and Lilly were shocked after seeing the hidden space.
"How would you know this?" Georgia demanded.
"Listen, I just want to tell you that you are in big trouble. You must leave this villa now!" Dennings urged.
"What are you talking about? I bought this for my son! I won't leave!" Georgia cried. "What is your point? Who are you, really?"
"If you stay here, this place will harm your son and your daughters. You have no idea what forces are here. That’s all I can say. If you care about your family, do what I said. If you don't, you will face situations you can't imagine."
Georgia scoffed as he left. "That was ridiculous! I think he just wants to own our villa, that's why he’s trying to scare us."
Lilly looked at the hidden entrance, her voice wavering. "But Mom, how did he know about the basement?"
"He researched the villa, Lilly! That's all. Now stop listening to him and focus on your brother."
The Soul's Possession
Later that night, Lilly called Dennings, her emotions fraying. "Please, can you tell me more about the villa?"
"Lilly, I told you to leave! If you’re still there, I can only say you need to convince your mother to move, and quickly. There is no chance you will survive this," Dennings warned.
"There's no chance, Dennings. My mother will never agree."
"Okay, then I’ll tell you something, but you have to calm down," he said gravely. "Lilly, your brother Louis was already dead after the first day your family entered the villa."
"What? Are you serious?! Don't joke about this! Louis still has a pulse! Come and see!" Lilly was frantic.
"It’s not Louis," Dennings whispered.
"What? Then who is it? It's Anila!"
Dennings explained the horrific truth: "Anila, who died decades ago, has possessed your brother's body to fulfill her dream. She wanted a handsome gentleman to marry, and she chose Louis. She entered his body, thinking he was the boy she needed."
Lilly gasped, remembering her vision. "Oh my god, I saw Louis wandering the villa! I thought I imagined it!"
"It was beyond your imagination, Lilly. You must convince your mother immediately and get out of there. Louis is not there with you anymore; that is not your brother. If you stay, she will destroy your whole family because she thinks you are the Kevin family."
"Who is Kevin?" Lilly cried.
"Lilly, I will tell you everything, but you have to get your mother out. Think about Flourous—the soul won't spare her, either. She is too powerful. You need to know this... How I know all this, and my relationship to the villa..."
Dennings paused, taking a deep, ragged breath. "Damn it, Lilly! I am Kevin."
What happens next? Does Lilly succeed in convincing her mother, or does Anila make her presence known through Louis's body?
