THIRTY-EIGHTABOUT A MILE EAST OF Mazibongwe, following on along Chapman’s Peak Drive, there is a lookout point frequented by tourists hoping to get good selfies. From that lookout point one can see the entire Hout Bay and a large part of Table Mountain as the sun dips behind it late in the afternoon. From this lookout point, it was also possible—if one was careful to do so when none of these tourists were watching—to descend through the brush which formed about a hundred feet or so before falling steeply down along the mountainside.
