Episode 16

When the sun went down, the tree in the back garden turned human again. The princess went back to her room to finish her studies on magical studies. The tree man, Siren, sat on the bench near the pond. He was watching the grasses and midnight iris flowers around the pond. He also saw his face in the pond but the swimming fishes disturbed him. And then, he looked up at the sky to see the moon. However, the moon wasn't there but the tiny stars were twinkling in the sky. He said to himself "What's happening to me and why do I feel that way?". He didn't understand his feelings and felt happy when a princess was playing around. Princess started to be his soul of life. The unseen rope started binding them stronger than before. Both he and the princess felt that way. They haven't shown up yet. After Prince Vlain went back home, the king and queen ordered Ms. Nora to grab the princess to their room. The princess was finding something serious that they didn't understand. But Ms. Nora must obey the king and queen's orders. So, she went upstairs to call the princess and go to meet them in their room. Ms. Nora felt unwell because her parents' reaction to her was being colder than a normal family. Ms. Nora thought they would keep in mind about their own benefit rather than their child's will. Ms. Nora wasn't spending much time with the princess yet. But she knew the princess by watching her all the time. When the queen has free time, the queen does skincare, nail care and other treatment for herself. Ms. Nora wanted the princess to get along with her mother more. Her parents kept her away from them. So, Ms. Nora saw the loneliness in the princess's eyes. The Princess always said, "I am okay with myself". Sometimes the princess went to the queen's room to tell her what was new she had learned at school. However, the queen never gave her the time to do those. Now, the parents of the princess were planning and preparing for her marriage without her will. Ms. Nora knew how sad and lonely she felt. The princess couldn't even talk or show her true feelings to either a nanny or a private maid. The princess had a personal maid called Ella. Ella came from the village of the queen's kingdom, Moryan. Ella was the nice maid who obeyed all the orders of the princess. Most of the time, the princess was getting worried about her. Because Ella was getting misunderstood over simple things. So, the princess tried to tell her by using the simplest way. If the princess gave her stuff to Ella, Ella was scared to take those things. The princess said, "I am your master, so you don't have to think about anyone else". In particular, the queen disliked Ella taking the toys and dresses of a princess. Whenever the queen scolded Ella, the princess ran up and said, "Mama, I gave those to her, so don't scold her as you wish". The princess was becoming unlikely to her parents more and more. So, the innocent and kind princess was getting the love of servants, maids, guards, and everyone else, including the people from the town.

On her way to Princess, Ms. Nora thought back over time about what princesses did for them. When she reached the princess's room, she knocked on the door twice. The princess said, " Come in, it's not locked". Therefore, Ms. Nora went into the room and saw the hill of books near the princess. Ella was cleaning the room and putting the books on the table. Ms. Nora said, "are you studying". The princess looked up at her and said, " What do you think". Ms. Nora said "pardon me, the king and queen order me to take you to their room". The princess said, "what room?". Ms. Nora said "their secret library room". The princess said, " Okay, then, go back and tell them I will be there in two hours". Ms. Nora said, " Princess, I can't do that for you". The princess said, "why". Ms. Nora said "they want you to meet them right now". The princess was getting angry and threw away the book. Then, she stood up from the sea of books. The books behind them started falling down. Ella was busy settling them back. The princess turned to Ella and said, "don't put those up, just leave them before I come back". Afterward, the princess put her dress down and cleaned the dust with her handkerchief. When she finished, she said, " Okay then, let's go". The princess held a deep breath and sighed as she took a walk with Nanny to her parent's room. When they reached the princess, they knocked on the door. The door was peeking open. A minute later, the king said "come in". They went into the room together and they saw the jewelry box on the table. The queen was smiling towards the princess by saying "you don't know how lucky you are". The princess said "what are those?". The queen said "those are specially made jewelry from the land of the sea". The princess said, " Did he give you those?". The queen said, "it's not him but it was sent from your mother-in-law". The princess said "what makes you two mad about those?". Suddenly, the queen's face turned red, and said "how can you say that". The princess said, "are you really getting much happier when you sell your own child to them". The king said "don't put it that way". The princess said, "I will because I feel like you two aren't my real parents". Then, she left the room without saying goodbye to her parents. And then, she walked upstairs to head to the back wing. The guards stopped her from going into the abandoned room in the daytime. But she said, "move out or I will punish you". The guards are afraid of punishment by the princess and also by the queen. Before Prince Vlain leaves, he tells us about the princess always going to the back garden and sometimes she goes near the forest. So, the queen ordered the castle guards to stop the princess. The guards kneeled down in front of the princess and told her "please forgive us, we can't disobey the queen and king". The princess said, " Okay, I can get in by using another way". Then, she opened the magical portal by using the wand near the guard. After that, she stepped into the portal and disappeared. The guards were shocked at seeing that thing. Minutes later, the Nanny was running up there to catch the princess. But the guards told her everything about the disappearance. The Nanny was worrying about her.

The magic portal opened at the other side of the path. The princess went off bypassing the portal gate and then she reached the magical forest. In the room, she found something related to the magical forest. So, she came here to be alone and to pick up some stuff. That stuff would relate to the cursed tree near the forest border inside the back garden near the castle wall. Because of the castle wall, she couldn't get into the forest easily. She took out the map from her bag and stepped forwards. Then, she saw the village far from the forest. She said "that might be it". Also, someone was following her from behind. She didn't realize that was happening. She was focusing on her steps to go there. When she was getting near the village, she didn't see anyone there. She said " What happened to that village? An hour later, she was looking around the houses in the tiny village. Before she saw the abandoned home which was burning down already. But there were many things left on the floor. She was moving forward to the shiny thing she saw under the floor, down the ashes. She took out the brush from her belt bag and moved the ashes away. Then, she saw clearly and she said "why is it getting here". She picked up the golden object and took a closer look. She saw the unique printed crown style necklace. She remembered the scene. And then, she said, "right I found something like this in my father's library room". So, she put it into her bag and walked forward. The squirrel which came down from the beam was jumping onto her hair. She was shocked and said, "Yike, get away from me". She was shouting and running away, thereby shoving it from her hair. Then, she caught that playful squirrel. She said, "you little why are you jumping on my hair". Finally, her hair was getting messy. But she put the squirrel down. Then, it went up to the tree in front of the burning house. At that time, she realized that the same structure looked much like the cursed tree on the castle's ground. She walked up there to have a closer look. Afterward, someone came up to her and patted her shoulder. She was turning around and looking. She said "Maya is that you". Maya was the school maid's daughter. The princess makes sweets when she doesn't want to eat them.
