Adella walked to hospital, the only place she could ever find comfort.
She missed her grandmother terribly but she knew her grandmother needed urgent treatment.
She was stable now but not for long.
As she walked into the ward, she noticed a small commotion.Doctors and nurses were rushing in and out of her grandmother's room.
Panic surged through her heart. She ran over. "Doctor, what's wrong with her?".
"You have to wait outside ma'am, you can't come inside. She's receiving treatment." a nurse informed her hurriedly
Adella's heart raced "huh? What happened to her please"
The nurse rushed back to the room before She could answer, leaving her confused and shocked in the hallway.
After few hours, she sat down with the doctor in his office.
"Well... it's not unexpected with her condition. She was having a panic attack which caused some instability.
"Okay Doctor, thank you"
"She needs treatment Adella, if she's going to receive it" The doctor looked at her with a little sympathy
She got out of the office, with trembling hands she dialed Jackie's number. "Hey" she said softly
"Hi Ady. What's up?. I'm close to the hospital, should I swing by?"
"Yes please" she replied.
VIA AIRPORT......
"Whoa, that was a very long flight. I'm jet lagged" Alex said to no one in particular as they waited for their designated driver.
Sophie was in her world, as she looked wide eyed in admiration at the beautiful surrounding
The driver finally arrived. He took their luggages and drove them to the hotel Alex had booked a week ago.
KING HOTEL....
"What do you mean by a misunderstanding? I booked a double room over a week now, and even paid half already".
The manager looked apologetic "We are sorry Sir, she's a staff in training she must have made a mistake and reserved a suite.
Alex rubbed his temples, he was so tired to argue all he wanted was a bed.
"We'll take the room, I can't stand here any longer" Sophie took the door card from the manager
They went into the room and Alex turned to here with a guilty look
"I booked two separate rooms. Kitten. I'll just find another place to stay. Rest well" He turned about to leave.
Panic rose in her heart. " Don't tell me you can't handle staying in a room with me?"
"What?" he turned giving her a boyish grin
"Who knows maybe I'm an irresistible femme fatale" She raised her chin playfully. She didn't want him to go.
Deep down she knew he didn't see her that way but having him this close was enough for her.
"You? Kitten. Don't make me laugh" he teased, clearly amused
"Okay I'll stay if you are comfortable"
"It's a suite, Alex.Big enough for four People".
She tossed her bag on the couch. "I'm going to shower"
"After you, Kitten." he stepped closer, and gently ruffled her hair like he always did.
When she was younger She liked it when he ruffled her hair. But now it brought a sweet pain in her heart, because it showed how he thinks of her as just his friend's little cousin who always tagged along and not as a woman he could love.
CITY HOSPITAL...
Adella stared up at the night sky.It was filled with plenty stars."Has the sky always been this beautiful Jackie?"
"Hmm, who knows Ady, some of us don't even have the time to stare up at the sky"
"I know right, life has been unfair Jackie" she sighed deeply.
"What's wrong with you? Adella you look disturbed. Is it your grandmother?"
"Well she's stable for now" She shrugged her shoulders
"Ady, I have found something for you"
"Really? When do I begin? and hope it won't interfere with my work" She turned to her friend, trying to sound brave
"I'll have to speak to him first" She smiled when she remembered Kyle's expression.
CLUB ECLIPSE...
Kyle sat on the couch in his office. His mind drifting back to the the time he met Jackie. He couldn't stop thinking about her. She affected him like no other woman did.
She was a beautiful blondie with contrasting hazel eyes. Her lips were full. He could never forget how they tasted. Her skin was soft and smooth. They made his fingers come alive.
A familiar ache stirred in him. slow and dark.He closed his eyes remembering how she moved under him and how her voice sounded in the room with their breaths mixing.
Without thinking he slipped his hand beneath his belt and stroked himself slowly, imagining how her lips will feel around him.
He groaned out loud as pleasure took over him
" f**k Jackie". Finally, he came .
"That was a great release" he muttered with a crooked smile.
"Glad I could be of help even in your imagination"
Kyle froze
His head snapped to the door, was he seeing things now?.
"Jackie?"
She stood there with her hands folded leaning on the door in a short leather skirt and tank top .
"You know? I've been called many things" she sauntered in "but a muse? " her smirk deepened
Kyle went still.
"The door was supposed to be locked"
"I guess you should double check before getting into the scene Mr ...." she didn't complete her statement as her eyes traced down slowly, her brows arched playfully.
"s**t" he muttered. He took a pillow to cover himself.
She sat on his desk crossing her legs like she owned the place.
"Don't you think it's unfair? You didn't pay me for the other time and here you are enjoying your self again because of me"
"What do you want?" He asked her, trying as much as possible to avoid her eyes.
She sat up from his desk, walking closer, grazing his shoulders, tracing slightly to his back and to the nape of his neck.
Kyle could feel his body reacting to her touch
"What kind of deal Jackie?"
"A spot in your new fantasy thingy" she traced her fingers slowly on his skin
His heart sank"You want a position?" he asked tightly
"Not for me, but for a friend"
Relief washed over him. He didn't think he could bear watching her with another man.
"Deal"
"Okay, I want her to work in secret. No formal interview or resume thing and I want her to serve only the VIP customers"
Kyle didn't hesitate he nodded his head
"See? She grinned, already turning to leave "I don't ask for much"
Laters, handsome" She walked out of his office, closing the door.
He took a long breath and slumped on his couch
"Who was he kidding?" There was no way he could stop her from doing what she wants
His blood boiled.
The thought of her being in another man's arms didn't sit well with her.
